Hi, i have a couple of issues that i can't seem to figure out.
1. i am trying to revamp my store and delete items, start fresh now that i have a little better understanding of the platform. i thought deleted a bunch of items but they are still showing up on the marketplace. they are not showing in my back office. how do i delete them permanently? it's so confusing.
2. when i am in my back office i can see my items but when i'm logged out and search Zazzle for my stores nothing comes up. i've tried store names as well as site name...nothing. i find certain aspects of the platform well put together but there are things that make my experience confusing.
thanks for your help

@pourartjo when you delete a product, the website needs time to index that deletion which can take a couple of days atm. If they have gone from your store back end - rest assured - they will go from the marketplace in due course
It's difficult to search zazzle for store names as those are not used as keywords so to speak.
Your store url will always be zazzle.com/store/yournamewhatever
It takes time to learn how to zazzle. Welcome!

Also please be aware the sites indexing has slowed down to the crawl. This means any changes you make to your store categories, moving products from old to new categories, creating new products and having them show in the store or MP and any analytics Zazzle gives you will all be delayed. It's all connected.

I'm still having issues trying to delete empty store categories that I deleted all products from last month and then it says it's not empty and can't be deleted but there are no products showing at all in the backend for me to delete. It seems like waiting a month should have caught up indexing by now so I could actually delete them. I also have a totally empty store that tells me I can't delete it and I cleared it off all products last month also.

Do you have any subcategories? I had a similar problem and finally was able to delete the category after I deleted each (empty) subcategory.

Thanks I don't have a subcategory for this one but I am going to go into the other store I want to delete and try to delete all the categories and sub categories and try again to delete it.

Angel, if your store is old your categories/sub-categories may be effected by an ancient bug. Once upon a time Zazzle deleted product types that they had stopped selling from the site. For some odd reason this effected categories which once had those product types in them. We can't delete those categories but instead either title them "empty" (for example) or reuse them.
I suspect this is also the reason some of us old timers can't delete certain stores as well.
Of course, if the indexing has stopped nothing you do will change the look of your store until the indexing is up and running again.
