Whole Category of Products Gone!

Sorry to start a new topic but commenting was shut down on the other threads with this topic for some reason.

I just discovered that a total category of products have suddenly disappeared (or removed?) from my "Various Other Holidays" category.  

I am wondering if this happened via the "Hidden Products" notifications where I then changed them to "Make Public."  Well it apparently didn't make them public.  It removed them.  That's the only reason I can think of why they are gone.

These products were made in 2023, so it's not just recent one from February 5 as some other Sellers have stated.

I just noticed under all of my stores categories I receive a message saying "Sorry, no products found" but if I look under my products section everything is still showing there.

The DEPARTMENT 'Party Hats' is empty.  Sold some yesterday and it got me looking for the items and I discovered a bunch of my categories are missing. So I made another hat from the sold one and it is not showing up today. The entire department is empty. This is all backend. I did not search the site because I just do not have the time. 

ADDED

No party hats are not showing in store. When I click on them for the entire store two valentine covid masks show up and they are hidden.  I looked at my store on incognito and a lot of my categories are missing.

My party hats are all missing from the backend/ store management too. However when I look in the public storefront they are visible and also visible in collections. So switching your back end to public storefront and see if they show up.

Yeah, this started last week or the week before. It's only empty in our backends, they're still in our store. I didn't report it b/c (1) ADHD, and (2) I'm usually far behind everyone else once I discover something like this.

I can't find my party hats in the back end ANYWHERE! I even sold one recently. I've tried looking under product type, in categories, with a search for "hats", etc. They're just not there at all in the backend.

Laurene,  Check again.  Although I have "some" products  showing publicly, not all of them are.  I went from 13 pages of products to 2 for the public to see. 

I'm encountering a similar problem - in public view, if I try to access categories I'm getting the error message "Something went wrong, 404." It appears that, gradually, all my categories have vanished. They're not hidden; they're still in the marketplace, but they're not showing up in my stores.

Yup, I just got a 404 error message when clicking on my shop name from one of the categories that is now showing no products.

I’m brand new to the platform and I have a storefront that should have a category with all my products, but nothing shows up on my storefront. No products at all. Has anyone got this resolved?

@Aloha_Shores If you're brand new - it can take a fair few days for new products in new categories to show and if there's a delay in indexing with the website, it could take longer

If they've not appeared in a week - come back and report it (a new thread is best)

I have Categories missing in store front view and thousands of products missing in both account and store front view. Literally years of work missing. I just emailed Zazzle about it, but should have thought to look here first.

Just check if Zazzle products links from website/social media work - they don't!

I hope we're going to be compensated for this.

UPDATE: For my store, it's the first category listed (and shown) in my store that has the problem.  I checked, and all the rest of the categories show products on both sides on the operation.  BUT....

Some of you are saying that your products are not showing on the backside of the store but do for the public side. I say, check again!!  Because, I just checked.  And, products are all gone on the backside of the store operations. But now only 3 pages of products are showing on the front side.  Then I just checked and now it's 2 pages of products showing to the public.  Yikes!!!!!

My category had like 15 pages or so of products since it was for "Various Other Unknown Holidays" and not traditional ones.  It was a big product category.  Now the products are slowing being removed and they're only a year old.

Check your front store too and make sure all the products are showing and not disappearing as well like mine seem to be.  Hope they have computer back-ups and can restore our missing products.

My first category is missing on the backside too.  On the public side a few products from that category are showing up - but MANY - like most - are missing.  The products seem to be in the collections that I have for that Category, so that's good.    Hopefully a Zazzle Moderator will address this soon.  Thanks!

I have the same problem: for all of my stores categories I receive a message saying "Sorry, no products found" but if I look under my products section everything is still showing there. I've checked the public storefront and is the same. I can see the products only under products section.

UPDATE: My public storefront now says "Error 404".  So all the products are gone for the public to see now as well and in the background management area for that category too.

This discussion was abandoned by OP, and has become a somewhat general "my product is missing" discussion. This is very difficult for us to track. I'm locking this discussion for now.

If you are missing products from your store, such as all party hats, then there may be a better discussion to report your issue in. Please use the Search functionality, and if you don't see anything similar to what you're experiencing then please create a new post and share some example products that we can investigate.
