* I didn't know whether to put this here, in Ideas & Suggestions, or Promoting.
Regardless of what is being featured in Zazzle's Facebook posts, the text always says something like "Shop the full collection/whatever at the link in bio". But the link in Zazzle's Facebook bio just goes to zazzle.com. So nobody viewing your posts on Facebook can find the thing you're promoting.
I realize these are being automatically cross-posted from Instagram where that "link in bio" goes here, which is just dandy if you're on Instagram, but the Facebook audience can't do anything but look at the picture and comment that that's nice, or be confused when the link in your bio they were directed to look at only goes to the main zazzle.com home page.
I get that Instagram doesn't do hotlinks in posts (thus the need for the common "see link in bio" type directions) but Facebook DOES. Couldn't the social media team include direct links to whatever is being promoted? They'd be inert on Instagram (where the viewers would still have option to 'see link in bio' or copy & paste URL manually) but after crossposting, the Facebook user would also be able to go to the thing by clicking that link. As is, seems kind of useless to be cross-posting to Facebook when those users have no way of finding the thing you are promoting.
If including direct links in the original Insta post isn't do-able, maybe the link used on your Facebook profile that now just leads to zazzle.com could be replaced with the same linkin.bio link used on your Insta profile so that users on both platforms can actually find what you're promoting.

Thank you so much for explaining that! I've always been utterly perplexed by those Zazzle posts on FB, but I thought it was just that I'm social media "challenged!" I'm always like "link? what link? Bio? what bio?" I've never been to Instagram so it never occurred to me that these posts might have originated there.
Anyhow, I totally agree that it makes no sense to advertise a product and then offer no way to find it!
