Attn to our responders: Can no longer post our "Got it." message.

In the old forum,  Marilyn posted a "Got it." message after she pinned products. She was doing it in the new forum. The purpose of the message was to let you know that she had promoted your product and to let her know where she had stopped in a thread. Several days  ago, she started being unable to post. Scott was trying to help to figure out why. She just tried another test post and got a spammer message. She got a chance to report it as incorrect. She did. So hopefully it will be fixed.

Don't know what triggers the spammer categorization. Hopefully, too many  repetitive +1s or anything else doesn't trigger the spammer categorization for anyone else.

@ElizabethR  Another way to do it would be to give the post kudos.  That way you can keep up with it since the button turns blue and the person that posted knows that you've seen it and are adding it.  That should keep you from getting caught in the spam filter as well.

If your posting "Got it" every time the bot will see that as spam.  If you posted something a little different every time, you will probably be fine... although coming up with a unique response every time will become difficult over time.  examples of other things you could post... pinned, pined this, published, just pinned, thanks pinned, etc...  What a challenge.  And if you do the same across many different posts you will probably still get flagged at some point.

The kudos button works in a sense... but you would only know if you pinned that response if, when you clicked kudos, it went up one.  If it goes down one, you already pinned it...

@PacifierCityWhen you kudo a post the button turns dark blue instead of white so you know you clicked it.

@MalissaLOL!  I figured that out about 5 minutes before reading your reply.  Thanks for looking out!

@ElizabethR in my request thread I am giving kudos to all of the posts letting them know I saw it and I am adding a tag "pinned" or "pinned selections" or "pinned collection"  to let them know I have pinned it.   So far this is working well for me.

We're now afraid to post anything near repetitive or too much for fear that I will lose my ability to post on the forum. Marilyn keeps trying test posts and she finally got a message that her post had been removed because it was considered to be spam. Scott asked for a screenshot, so we posted it on the last page of the Feedback Forum. Maybe Scott will be able to fix it.

Maybe just hit the Kudos instead we can see you have got it then and just make that clear in your post that is your new method of telling people. Would think this also helps you rank up too as you increase your participation. Plus easy to see which ones you have done as you can view kudos's in the notifications for both us and you.

Just a thought, I hope this helps ❤️

Scott fixed it and I'm back. I'm posting the link to the thread, so others can be warned. I doubt that too many would have this issue. However, not too many will have another Zazzler in the same household. If it happens to someone else, my suggestion is to contact another Zazzler off the forum and have them help you report it.
