A Personalized Grocery Bag

Hello,

A customer requested a grocery bag with a photo she took on it and her and her husband's business name.

I know that on another selling platform, you can put a listing but put PRIVATE on it so others know it's just for one person.

Is there something like that here?  Or is there a private way to list the bag where no one else but this particular customer can find it?  No one else would purchase the grocery bag because it's highly personalized.

Thank you.

Yes. When publishing you set the product to "Direct Only" under the Product Visibility option. Then it can be seen only through the product link, not in the MP. Then you give the product link to the customer.

If you want to do it to a product that is already published, choose Edit in the back end dropdown menu. The option to set to Direct Only is under Additional Options.

Thank you very much for responding!  This is great information!

Thank you so much!!!!

Forgive me. . .may I ask a follow-up question?

How do you send the client a draft copy of the personalized product - before publishing?  Do you just copy and paste the address line?

Sorry for these questions.  This is the first time I'm doing this type of project.  Thank you!

I don't think you can. It doesn't have its own link until after it has been published. I did this with shirts for my husband's team and couldn't find any way to send a link to a draft so I published what I considered a draft (of course set to direct only) and he sent that link to his team members and they emailed him suggested revisions which I did and then published a new version and deleted the "draft" version.
