Hello,
I am considering opening a second store that will primarily feature content that does not stem from my original photography and may rely heavily on assets from Creative Fabrica. For most, I will be remixing them, creating new designs, etc. For some of the others, I may upload pretty much as-is (only for the full POD license items) and maybe add some personalization option/s.
I don't want to get banned. From what I've read from the licenses of both sites, I think this is OK, but before I create a bunch of products and spend a lot of time, I'd like to verify!
Thanks for your help.
Amanda

I have bought some POD assets from CreativeFabrica and used some modified and some as-is. No issues.

Thank you both! I am glad to know the as-is has been OK too. 🙂

@KeegansCreation Have you bought fonts there? I am very interested in it, but their uses are confusing to me, especially for downloadable products. I would like to make more templates for downloads now with beautiful calligraphic fonts for quotes, the ones from Z are already very repetitive for me.

I have bought fonts there and used them here. You aren't allowed to install them on a 3rd party's server (such as Zazzle's) but then you couldn't do that even if it was allowed. You are only allowed to install them on your home computer and then upload them as a design. But that's what you were going to do anyway.

Certainly you can use them as-is: just be aware that other people can also buy those graphics and use them as-is, so other designers could have designs similar to yours, without copyright infringement. So I usually try to modify them somewhat, just so my designs will stand out and be more original.

I definitely plan to do this the majority of the time. I am thinking I may use some as-is here and there, especially as complementary items to fill out a small collection.
Thanks for your reply!
