Customer UNCHECKED Remove Independent Creator Credit

I designed a holiday greeting card and have CHECKED the "Remove Independent Creator Credit" box. The QR code was removed. 

However a customer recently purchased about 100 of my cards and, probably mistakenly, UNchecked the box. If these cards are printed with the QR code, they will look dreadful because it's right on top of the copy on the card! 

I'm concerned I will have a very unhappy customer.  

Obviously, I can't cancel the order on behalf of the customer and I have no way of contacting them to ask them to cancel it. But I don't want the cards shipped out with this code in place.

Imo a customer shouldn't have the option of putting the code back on a product once a designer has removed it but I digress. Do I have any options to mitigate what is sure to be an imminent disaster?

@LuciFinch they probably unchecked it as it's a cheaper option to have the QR Codes on the card rather than not. When designing cards with a QR option - be mindful of where you place copy/artwork and then they'll be no problem in the future (plus you don't know whether the customer altered the design to their liking to take the QR code into account)

I'm hoping that's the case! That they altered the design and the code won't be a problem. You're right, from now on I will take into account that this may happen again and will be sure to keep the general area of the QR code free of any copy. Thank you!

I believe the content management team looks at every design before it's printed. So if the customer didn't re-arrange the design and it looks like something that would result in a return, they'll hopefully catch it. But there's nothing you can do from your end.

If it was just one card, I wouldn't even sweat it. But this person ordered 85! ($$)

That's fantastic! I had no clue Zazzle has QC prior to printing.  That makes me feel so much better since getting the hang of templates,  especially at the beginning, is so tricky.
