Grouped image weirdness

I have a weird "grouped image" thing happening with some of my designs. In the design space, the "group", that's comprised of a bunch of smaller bits - a cropped image, some white "elements", etc - is showing up wrong. But then the preview image, and the public image the buyer sees, are fine. This is happening with more than one design. I'm wondering if the grouped design is too complicated? Should I trust that they will in fact print OK? Has anyone else had this happen? I don't feel like buying one of everything to see. I'll post a pic here.

Tried to edit the above to clarify: When I first design the product, the art works fine in the design space, or else I wouldn't publish it, obviously. I only discovered this weird thing when I went back way later - weeks, months maybe - to edit the design for some reason, and saw that it was doing this. Same for the other designs doing the same thing. They all involve a cropped image that has been grouped. ??

I get weird stuff with grouped images once in a while, but that's a new one on me. That's like Crazy Town.
