Is there somewhere I can go to get directions on how to post in forum?
All of my posts so far are double spaced
Thanks,
Kati

I think what you're after is line breaks within a paragraph like this
first line break
second line break
This is a new paragraph by using <enter>. You get line breaks by pressing <shift><enter> instead of just <enter>
I hope that helps 🙂

Some text. Some more text.
Typed after hitting "enter".
Typed after hitting "shift: + "enter"
Some more text after hitting "enter".
THANKYOU @HightonRidley for that super-simple solution to what was a really frustrating problem.

I do not know what that is happening for you. We do have a testing area if you want to try some different things. https://community.zazzle.com/t5/testing-forum/bd-p/testing
I see nothing in preferences about this. You're not hitting enter at the end of each line, I guess? Or could it be something else in your browser or something? I have not seen anyone else ask this question, so I am not sure it's a condition endemic to the forum.
I also do Postcrossing!

This has been driving me batty since Day One in the new forum. "Enter" on the keyboard inserts a blank line between text lines; if you just want your text to drop to a new line without a blank line in between you can't unless you go into the HTML and mess around with the <p>s and inserting your own <br />s. Super frustrating. Never occurred to me it might be a browser based thing. Huh. Not sure I'm brave enough to try Windy's hack yet though.

I'm going to give the Firefox change a try.
If it goes badly, I'll just change it back to how it was. Will let you know.
Okay, I edited it and there's no change.
See? Double space.
