Photos Won't Crop to My Heart Frame

I created a heart shaped photo frame, made the photo a template and chose fit (I also tried fill). When I test replacing the image the photo remains a square instead of a heart shape, can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

I'm directed to a blank gift bag with your link!

Humm...maybe that was the one I was testing. I will paste the link in below that takes you to the original product

I took a look and the heart/text graphic is above your photo in the layers. However, your photo already contains the heart shape. Customer photos won't have that. You need to add a heart-shaped mask to the photo, or include a white background to your graphic with a cutout window for the photo. Use the 'Fill' setting so that the photo fills the whole shape. That's what I'd do!

...gees someone bought a bag, wonder how they made it work, I think I get it, I will see if I can fix the photos, thank you very much for the help. I made several products with that art...uugh....

Images are always rectangular/ square having a measurable width & height.  They only appear to be other shapes because of transparent pixels. Your heart shape is just the non-transparent area of your image. You need to create a .svg heart shaped mask for the template image.

thank you for taking a look at the art. Is creating a mask an option on the Zazzle editor?
