I wonder what happens if you don't optimize the products that pop up on your notification list? I realise they'll probably be hidden, but are they deleted after a while? Would it hurt your Z ranking, or come to think of it, perhaps benefit it?
If you do not optimize, the product will be hidden and will remain hidden and will not be deleted for the reason of lack of optimization. I tend to think that leaving them hidden, or deleting them will improve Z-Rank. That's not necessarily the approach I take, but sometimes I think maybe I should!
the main thing is they will be hidden from the market place so if you are great at getting all your own traffic .. no issue.. but if you also depend on customers finding you in the MP.. you're not going to be seen.
