In 2019 I told one of my best friends: I’ve sold one thing on Z. Two or three days later, I sold something else. Well, then it became many things every day, and it was very comforting to see that my work, my effort, and my consistency were being recognized. Now I have to say it again: I’ve sold one thing on Z, and I’ll have to wait another two or three days for the next one. It’s been 7 full days without a single sale. And total sales of around 20 or 30 dollars. How is it going for you?

Howdy everyone. I'm relatively new to zazzle (just since September of last year) and I've been reading the forums religiously. Getting loads of great info (thanks!), but am starting to come to the realization that zazzle is only for invitations and paper. I'm in a very VERY specific niche too, so not surprised I've only made pennies. A few of you (again, thanks!) have suggested as much, that there's only really money to be made in a very narrow set of products that Zazzle offers. I really don't want to get into designing invitations and napkins though. Nothing wrong with that, I just don't think I could get motivated to do that. My question is, are any of you making any sales in apparel? Or any other non-paper products? I tried to diversify into wrapping paper and made a few sales, but it was draining. The joy I got in designing t-shirts was in designing something I'd wear myself and designing clothes for my kids. But I can't even rank on the site despite all your excellent advice. I've spent months on tagging, changing tagging, writing ginormous 1000 character product descriptions, doing cover photos etc. Yet I can't get a look in over 10 year old products with clip art created by long abandoned accounts. There's a bunch of editors picks on products that are 100 years old and I can't seem to get any visibility to even test if my products are worth while. I'd love to diversify into other products but don't want to be something I'd never buy myself (a space birthday invitation or a an abstract skull pickleball set for example). My "trending design" icons are hits that are coming from me, I'm certain of that. I want to give it one more shot but don't want to be disheartened again. I made more money in a week by entering a competition on threadless than I did in 4 months at Zazzle. I understand the audience for my stuff isn't here but am really curious if anyone has been able to make anything other than wedding invitations work? I'm not an idiot (or maybe I am!), so I know what I have is probably not a good fit for zazzle. I just thought I'd be able to get some visibility so I could know for sure. I just don't know how new creators are expected to compete on site against designs from when zazzle first launched. Seems zazzle has a chicken and egg problem for new creators. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Not looking for your secret niches, just some encouragement that zazzle isn't just a paper mill. Thank'n you. S

? percent Do not understand the break down on the money not sure about this. Is this because of the 3rd party or maybe it sold on Pinterest? I love Zazzle and enjoy making sales here but not too sure I will if my profit is cut. Is it something I'm doing wrong. Appreciate any advice. Thank you. This must be New or rolling out now... Just spotted a New Design Tool Layout when clicking Personalize on Invitations. A different window opened up. Then typed in Playing Cards, and Business Cards. Same new layout template look for each of them! Has tabs for Front, Back, Options and Review... ETA: Noticed this new template layout for Post Cards also. Looks nice. New look customers will see. Looks similar to other sites over years for cards...

I haven't received my Zazzle notification that my royalty commissions for the previous month of April have yet to be posted to my PayPal account. This is usually done on the 15th (of each month.) It's now the 16th and so far no payment. Anyone else missing their April commissions via PayPal or check?

I am still not able to change royalty rates. In a rare case they stick, mostly they don't. I know this has been mentioned about a zillion times during the past couple of MONTHS. Please fix this, Zazzle! Thank you.

A few months ago, I began creating only manual pins on Pinterest. My views, clicks, impressions, etc. rose 1,000% (but not my sales). That’s the actual number, not an exaggeration. Pretty impressive, right? However, creating manual pins is a lot more time consuming. So, I have a question regarding adding tags to Pinterest’s Tagged Topics data field: Is it necessary and/or beneficial for me to enter tags into this field, especially since it’s not a cut-and-paste type of field. I can only choose from a variety of pre-set Pinterest tags — which only appear (or not) when I type something into the field. Many of the options are not appropriate for the design. This process is the most time-consuming part of the manual Pinterest pin process. So, will it affect my Pinterest clicks, views, impressions, or sales if I leave this field blank? Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Just wondering how these Editors Picks work. I don't have any products chosen so far, even though I see other Z Pro stores like mine with several photos (if not dozens) chosen so far as Editors Pick. Statistically, it's quite impossible not to have anything 'nice' in the store or so I think. How often do they check for new products that are being created? Having items chosen to be Editor's Pick does not guarantee more sales as it is in the end a matter of choice for each customer to purchase what THEY like but still, going forward with the store and towards the Bronze badge soon (hopefully) it would be nice to have some of my products chosen as Editors Pick.

Hi Z, Since the change in manufacturers for ID Badges, I have received quite a number complaints from customers saying that the badges are now "too thin" and "low quality" (both in printing and material) compared to previous orders before the switch in manufacturers. Question: Are there any plans in the works for bringing the ID badges back up in quality as they were before? Please let us designers know... I'd like to pass on some hopefully good news regarding this to customers so they stick with Zazzle rather than search out another supplier. Thanks, and I appreciate any feedback that you can provide 🙂
