Hi Zazzlers!
I wonder if any of you can help. I have a second Zazzle account and got stuck a long time ago trying to deal with my tax forms (W-8BEN for non-US). Zazzle staff were very helpful via email, but the outcome was that they wanted me to send the tax form from the email address I used to sign up for that particular Zazzle account.
For various reasons, I no longer have the website (or the email account) that I used for that Zazzle sign-up. But I noticed last night that I can change the email account associated with it. That might help, as I can set up a new Protonmail account for my 2nd account.
The question I have is: if I change my email address from, say, Address 1 to Address 2, will a message get sent to Address 1 asking me to confirm? Because that also will not be helpful if I no longer have the Address 1 email account.
And, of course, I'm only surmising that when Z Staff said they want the W-8 from the email account I signed up with, that they actually just mean the email account I have connected to the account. That might also be wrong. They might actually mean "the email account I signed up with" rather than any subsequent email I connect to that account.
I do still have control of the domain name, though, so if push comes to shove, Namecheap sells their own cloud email hosting, so I'll be able to reproduce the original email address - it's just the usual conundrum: do I want to pay for that or can I figure it out using a free webmail (Proton, Gmail, etc)
Thanks for any advice on this. Esp on the process of changing email addresses and whether I still need to be in control of the old address.

I guess you don't need access to the original e-mail, just your account password.
I'm not sure if I understand your question, though.

I think Zazzle wants the W-8BEN forms to be sent to them from different emails, because I use my regular email account for this (Artsiren) account. I guess it'll cause a load of confusion if they get 2 different forms for two different accounts, both from the same email address.
But in my case, I shut down my secondary email along with the website when I got rid of my webhosting, back when the GDPR(EU) regulations appeared. So the email I set up my second Zazzle account with no longer exists.
The question was really just whether I can set up a new freebie Protonmail, then change my contact details on the 2nd Zazzle account to that. Often, with many websites, if you try to change an email address or password or something, they'll auto-send a reply to the original address asking you to click a confirmation link to finalise the change.
But since I don't have the original email account now, I will never receive the confirmation link.
Just wondered if any other Zazzlers have changed emails, so they can confirm whether Zazzle uses a similar system.
Lol. It's all kinda weird and complicated; but I only found out about GDPR a month before it came in, and with potential 20million Euro fines for having the wrong font, etc I figured I'd just shut down all my websites! Forgot that I'd linked one of them to Zazzle.
