People sending messages saying they may be interested in large quantities.

Hi all,

haven’t been here for a long time. Just wondering if people are getting messages saying, hi, I’m interested in your products and may want to order large quantity etc etc… are these scam requests. Probably silly question, as I’m sure they are?

Yes, this has been happening since June. It stopped for a while and it seems now it's coming back. I've just received another of these messages today.

A moderator said this in another post: If anyone comes across such messages, please flag it in this thread and we will investigate further.

Now, what to do? Report and block user. (I also made these memes to spread awareness about such a topic 😂)

Can you post your answer again, please? I read it in the e-mail and I think what you said can be very useful for many people.

The forum software wouldn't let me post it until at least 3,600 seconds had passed. So I waited and have now posted it 🙂

This has the 'feeling' of a scam that used to do the rounds a few years ago. In it, they'd order and pay for large quantities. They'd also include in the payment an extra amount for you to pay to someone who would facilitate some aspect of the purchase.

Their payment would be made by via a stolen account / cheque and after you'd paid the facilitator, the cheque / payment would go bad. As a result, the funds would be automatically taken from your bank account with nothing you could do to prevent it.

You not only lose the goods, but also the additional payment you made to the faciltator from your own funds.

Bad news all round.

So report any such communications as @Lais suggests and hopefully they'll be kicked off Zazzle.
