I love them, I have been making the tapestries all day and I'm excited about them. This is a great all occasion product.

this is a great new product!

for the Product Merchandising Options, could we have one more option where we can limit to
both the selected size and style?

thank you!

@WHS_Designs I will forward this request now.

Hi James, while you're at it: it would be awesome if customers could choose which ones they want to buy of that set of 3, if they decide to buy only one or two. This gives us the opportunity to create one set and customers have then the free choice of which ones they want to have. Examples:

- 3 seasons set spring/summer, Fall & Winter: customers can buy all 3, choose a pair (e.g. summer & winter), or buy the single season they prefer.
- Portraits of dog breeds coming in 3 colors (e.g. Collies, German Shepherds, Labradors): you make a set of all 3 colors and customers can then choose which one(s) they want to buy, depending on the coloration their own dog(s) have.

Lovely new product, btw, I think it will be appreciated.

Happy Holidays to all of you!

Edit: Was curious how many options there would be, and it's not that much to get overwhelming:

- Whole Set of 3 Panels
- Single Panel 1
- Single Panel 2
- Single Panel 3
- Set of 2: Panel 1 & 2
- Set of 2: Panel 2 & 3
- Set of 2: Panel 1 & 3

Nevermind. I've just noticed that the price per panel on the sets is the same as bought singularly and that we can define set options. So the only benefit of the 3 options is to create/buy determined sets of 3 or pairs and publish them as such. I've also noticed that the price of the set of 3 is a tad higher than buying 3 singular ones. And that the sizes of the tapestries don't match on the insitu-pictures, depending on the set you're looking at. I will address this separately.

I've never designed tapestries because they looked sloppy to my eye when tacked (or whatever) to a wall. These look a whole lot more attractive. Time to get busy creating.

These are really lovely and am so thrilled to see tapestries with the wood tops. So much nicer looking! I look forward to when perhaps you will also offer square shaped tapestries as well as a long scroll style. I currently have some in my own living space that measure 29 x 29 inches, along with a vertical scroll style that is 14 x 32 inches.

Very nice! I'll have to get busy adding some. Would be great if we could have a square option too.

I love it!

These tapestries display much better than the old (non-wood) ones do. Great option!

Client was disappointed the wood top/bottom pieces weren't included in the packaging. Not sure if this is going to be an ongoing issue.

When I looked at the insitu pics and switched between the sets, something looked strange to me with the proportions. Took the time to check it out, and my impression was right. The proportions are non-consistent and the tapestries are oversized. See the following examples (applies also to the chair):

You may also want to adjust the bed insitus to focus more on the tapestries and have a better-looking cut of the bed scene.

One more problem affects the price of the whole set. There is no "discount" on buying a set of 2 or 3, it costs the same as buying them singularly. While on the blank product, the prices are shown/set correctly on all 3 sets, on a product with your own Royalty rate, the third panel is higher in price. Checked this out with my 14.9% standard rate. There must be something wrong with the calculation, the % Royalty rate shouldn't make a difference.

The end price is also wrong, it shows 167.80 instead of 167.40. Note: tested this only at 14.9% royalty rate. See the test product here:

I just now checked the prices on one of my tapestries, and when I switched it to two tapestries or three, the price per unit remained the same. It's strange that we aren't coming out with the same results.

Tested it again to make sure I was not wrong. At least at a 14.9% Royalty rate the price of the third is messed up by 40 cents. Test yourself, made it direct-only:

Edit: the regular price per item is 55.80 - check for the 56.20 value, it pops up every time the third set is involved. The whole set price shall be 167.40 (3x55.80) but it is 167.80.

Though I didn't doubt you, I checked anyway. Indeed, the pricing is out of whack.

Oh, I make mistakes, too, wouldn't be the first time 😉 Like this product, BTW, it's perfect for pet portraits. Regarding your regular tapestry thoughts, you're right, the mockups aren't appealing. They look great, though, if they're on nice mockups. On the other POD I am it's beautifully done. They make also great bed drapings if created horizontally on the largest size. The problem is, they're a bit tricky to create. The min. resolution is 100 dpi, so you need a 10400x8800 pixel image for the large ones. No need to go higher at that size, but still, it's a pretty heavy and large size, especially if you want to put artwork on them as I do.

No idea if this forum closes this year, I'm surprised we can still communicate, so Happy and peaceful and relaxed Holidays, should we not read us anymore until Xmas. Have a lovely time!

I've made only two mockups so far for tapestries, my own sentiments going toward "old" looking settings because I simply can't get the idea out of my head that tapestries are supposed to keep drafts out of castles.

My most recent mistake was forgetting to ask someone to go up to the attic to get the Christmas tree. Maybe tomorrow.

Merry Christmas to you, Fio, and also to everyone else.

One last suggestion before letting you go 😉 - It would be lovely to have the third insitu also for single panels, it's a beautiful one in modern classic style and warm brown tones that complement perfectly the wooden panels. Made a quick draft, the proportions are the same as on the 2-panel one, slightly enlarged the backdrop to make the panel larger.

And now Happy Holidays to the whole team and thank you for providing such a great and powerful POD service, you're the best!
