Hi, I have not been able to figure out the unicodes everyone is using so I just purchased the Morgana font to try and use their swashes and tails. Has anyone else had success adding the tails/swashes? I finally was able to add them but they do not look like the ones in my font book.

@WHS_Designs made charts for all of the fonts with special characters. Here's the one for Morgana:
https://www.zazzle.com/morgana_font_ligatures_poster-228366012402776862
Here's the whole collection:
https://www.zazzle.com/collections/ligature_glyph_chart_for_script_fonts_on_zazzle-11997475281876869...
Just open the Morgana Chart in the design tool, then open/edit the text box that contains the swash you want to use, copy the appropriate character (they're invisible when you open the edit text tool, so you have to count as you move your cursor to get the right one), then paste it into your design.
ETA - I find it hard to figure out which ligatures are beginning and ending ones when I just see them in isolation, so I made my own "cheat sheet" using each one in a word so it's easier for me to see them in action.

@Colorflow
I've responded to you in a Chat with more specific instructions. @Laura 's "cheat sheet" (which I think is like @Cat 's) is much cleaner to use, and the specific special character(s) will be easier to find than with the charts that I've posted.

Hello @WHS_Designs
I am not sure where to search for swashes and tails for the fonts I've saved in Edit using Design Tool.
Are Laura's swashes and tails still available for all Zazzle designers to use?
If so, would you be able to let me know where I can find Laura's swashes and tails? I would also appreciate if you have instructions on which specific special characters to use. E.g. Which ligatures begin and end for every letter of each font.
Thank you,
Erin Margaret

@erinmargaret
In regards to your questions: I'm not sure as I can't find @Laura 's threads at the moment.
However, you are free to use the updated special character charts in the following collection (including instructions for using them):
Special Character Charts for Script Fonts (II) (zazzle.com)
Each special character is in its own text field, whereas before they were not. This should simplify the process of picking leading and ending swashes.
Hope this helps!,
W.H.

Given recent news events, I would exercise caution around using Morgana

That's true. I found a couple of other fonts with universal swashes, but I don't want to draw attention to them and put them in a crossfire as well.

What recent news? Have not been using Morgana that much. I always find it weird for the customer when they click personalize and see that □ icon. Maybe they see it as an error and just remove it.

Great observation.
Are their other fonts you avoid using, when you want to use tails, that show this □ icon?

Although they look pretty, I just don't use tails/ swashes that much for that reason.
