PLEASE!...... change location of design tool access button

I know this has been discussed before, but I don't know if anything is in the works to change this in the future. .. is there any hope for a change on the horizon???? Please, pretty please ... I'm in agony here.

I'm currently working on a design that has 20 plus template layers. Every time I want to go back and forth from the design tool to the preview images to see how my design is looking, I have to scroll down that long list of template fields to get to the design tool access button. Since there are so many templates, they don't fit on a single screen and trying to get to the 'Edit using design tool' button at the bottom is really frustrating.

I agree it would be nice to have a way to bypass the long scroll when you're editing a product with lots of template fields (like when you're making a new version or something), but why do you exit the design tool to look at when you're working on it instead of using the preview feature within the design tool? If you click on the magnifying glass it goes full screen and looks exactly like the product page previews. Is there some reason not to do that?

Oh my gosh Cat (slapping forehead) ...how the heck did I miss that..lol. I've never tried clicking on that pic and didn't realize I could get the full screen preview from there. Thank you, thank you, you just made my day. So the answer is no, there is no reason not to do that, other than my complete dumbassery.😃😋

Bwahahaha! I think "dumbassery" is my new favorite word! 😀 Glad I could help! I'd be going totally insane if I had to exit and scroll every time I wanted a close up look! (Of course, that implies that I'm not totally insane already, which might be debatable! 🙄)

You can also just use the "p" on your keyboard.
p to open the full-screen preview page, p again to exit back to the Design Tool.

This will add no inherent value to this thread, but I'm just here to say: @Baylee - Thank you for posting this question so I could have such an uplifting example today of incredible communication as was your response, @Cat . Sometimes it's just so nice to see quality in action and I loved being a fly on the wall for that graciousness. Bless you.

Also, thank you both for the laugh. A perfectly-placed "dumbassery" packs the best punch. And for days when you're feeling otherwise, may I present "badassery" as one of my own favorite words.

And finally, @ColsCreations  -  What what? Never have I ever come across that "p" trick and it is already about to be my favorite shortcut. Much gratitude for your sharing it.

Carry on!
