Why is indexing suddenly so sporadic? Why did zazzle go down on cyber Monday? I can't email anyone about our store because it isn't working correctly...just before Christmas! Is anyone else experiencing these extremely frustrating problems?

Stats are not updating, either, since the 5th, it appears. Views, sales, etc. Sales reports seem ok, but counts and dates are not updating on individual items.

Slow indexing isn't anything new. From what I have seen this year, it is the new normal. It used to be that you had to give 3 months time to get ready for a holiday. I actually prepare six months ahead now.

this time it's not only the indexing, even the sales clearing and link overs are all affected.

None of this is new. It all gets sorted out eventually.

Yes, and it's maddening. I sold a particular photo template Christmas ornament 21 times to the same customer who customized each one. That was about a week ago. Two days ago she came back and bought 9 more of the same ornament. Nice sale; you'd think it would boost it in the rankings. But when I checked this morning, it's actually not even to be found in the same search terms that I found it on page 8 before the initial sale of 21 was appearing in the stats. Seems like it just dropped off the radar. However, several other of my ornaments that haven't even sold once are appearing.
It's all hard to understand, sometimes.

sales clearing reports are also affected, the clearing part. it's been reported on the technical issue forum. https://community.zazzle.com/t5/technical-issues/earnings-didn-t-clear-this-morning/m-p/181289

Fred the boiler man (in the basement), took a day off and it takes time to bank the fire and get steam pressure back to normal operating levels. Unfortunately this meant the pneumatic messaging system stopped working due to Zazzle employees sending Xmas presents through the tubes. Normal indexing should resume once Fred has cleared the blockages.

Is anyone else experiencing a delay in the clearing process for last month's sales? It seems like it hasn't started yet

Slow indexing is the name of the game at Zazzle! This year does seem to be worse, but basically it's an ongoing thing we've been struggling with for years. The site is just so huge with millions of products and almost a million designers, that it's bound to take time (although I imagine Amazon is even bigger, and they don't seem to have so much trouble!)

I concur, even Etsy has grown leaps and bounds since I've been on it. I rarely create new products anymore with zazzle due to this. Last year during the holiday's I only made a couple of sales and I wasn't self marketing. This year so far has been better. I only use Pinterest and occasionally share in my ig stories. Thankfully it's only part time for me, yet I feel for those who rely on it.
