It would be nice if designers could submit their best work to editors pick. The few editors picks I have are definitely nor my best work and I feel like my good stuff gets overlooked. It would be great if Zazzle had a continuous rolling update list, so that when we see a new feature, or something gets changed, we can check the list to see if it is intentional or a bug. For example, recently in the Design Tool, the background color option was removed from the layers panel, and now we have to just use the Background tab. not a big deal, but it definitely took  while to figure it out! Same thing happened when the "Uploads" tab was moved. So a list that would immediately be updated when a change goes live, would be a great idea to keep us all informed, even of small changes, without having to search the forums. ... View more

Alphabetical orders are critical for many products related to proper names, such as baby names, personal names, school names, town names, etc.  Currently, products within a category on the public front can be only sorted by: Popularity (default) Newest Price For a category with names being the critical element of the title, shoppers can't find the products by scrolling through a random mix without sorting products by alphabetical order.  Even if you create a super narrow category such as "Names starting with A", potentially there will be hundreds of names with A.  In reality, we can't have 26 categories, each with one letter.  If we have a category such as "A - D", for example, there will be so many products in chaotic order it not sorted by "Title A - Z". Currently, shop owners can sort these products by alphabetical order but only in the back end.  On the public front, products are sorted by popularity by default, making the store such a random mess, discouraging shoppers to browse as they can't find the exact names.  Then, after seeing the random mix (sorted by popularity), there is no option for them to sort by alphabetical order. Even if shoppers know the exact names they are shopping for, the search box would be their only means to find products in such a random mix.  And it's not ideal, as it eliminates the opportunity for shoppers to browse. I hope Zazzle would implement 2 features: Allow shoppers to sort products by alphabetical order. Most effective solution:  Allow shop owners to set which sorting order to be the default, including the alphabetical order.  I understanding sorting by popularity is a business strategy for many stores.  But this strategy does not work for products where proper names are critical.  Only shop owners would know which category needs the alphabetical order as they know their products and their intended shoppers best.  Zazzle can still leave the Popularity sorting as a default in the back end, as it is a good practice; but please allow an option for us to present our category in alphabetical order to the public when it makes sense.  As of now, we have no such option. Sometimes getting curved text perfect requires some fine tuning.  For example, if you want the text to run along a perfect circle, setting curvature to .72 might be slightly off, but setting it to .73 might overshoot in the other direction. Is there a way for the marketing department to create a video or tutorial that explains how Zazzle works. 90% of the customers who message me are asking things like "can you ship this by XX date?" They all think we are actual creators of the product like on Etsy. I don't mind telling them and explaining that I don't print or ship, but it feels like a pretty frequent frustration from other designers as well. I know that there is an auto reply option, but if that many customers don't understand the concept of Print on demand or they think the function of the "ask the creator" messages are to inquire about shipping, perhaps Zazzle could be proactive on the welcome page and educate the customer how this is all set up. Something like "Your product features content which requires review. Are you sure you wish to proceed?" A "delete" from the Under Review queue feature has already been suggested, it could complement that. If "delete" has been judged unviable, my suggestion could be an alternative. I suggest this because I have an item stuck in the "Under Review" queue. It has a Latin word on it which has triggered the review process because the word means something different (and inappropriate) in modern English slang. I absolutely love the Zazzle throw pillows, both designing them and their quality. My family loves them as well, but they have small homes with a single couch, so covering it with a million of my pillows isn't really an option. lol Enter: Throw pillow CASES! With all of the emphasis on holidays and special occasions on Zazzle, I think covers only would make A LOT more sense and possibly skyrocket sales on the product. One can only use and/or store so many pillows at a time, but covers are MUCH easier to store, and it's fun to switch out decor for various seasons and events.  It also doesn't seem like it would be a huge problem in terms of sourcing, as zipper covers are already offered and could move seamlessly into this role. Perhaps in addition to selling the cases on their own, there could also be bundled options: if someone designs a case with spring on one side and then summer on the other, and then a second case with fall/winter, it would make a great 2-pack of cases. It would be great if we had the possibility to put some kind of "away or out of office" automatic reply into the chat. With the hurricane we had just now I knew that I would be without power and internet for days so any requests coming in during that time just sat for days in the chat. Additionally when I finally got to them they were about production and shipping so not for me to solve anyways... would have been great to have an auto-reply message to inform customers and redirect them to customer support. On collection sorting. I was recently putting my Halloween collections at the top, but how annoying it is that the page wizzes to the top, and I have scroll back down again. Is anyone with me on this? Could we ask to get that feature removed to make seasonal sorting less frustrating?
