Please add "Ideas and Suggestions" link to the drop-down list of choices for Choosing a New Board when a new message is initiated using the "Start the Conversation" button from the community.zazzle.com page. (if the "Ideas and Suggestions" is the old "Tips and Tricks" sub forum, please rename and reorganize). Thanks! W.H.

Please add "Any Baby" to the "For Kids" sub-category under Recipient. (I think this may have already been mentioned in the old Zazzle forums). Thank you, W.H.

I am trying to create an eyecatching graphic to show off my teapot, but the teapot is white, and all the in situ backgrounds are also white. It would be nice if the in situs could be expanded to show the teapot against one or two other colors of medium or dark hue. I did the best I could with this but it's still white on white. https://www.instagram.com/p/CcGLShFOOpB/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

I would like to suggest that the product description for Ceramic Tiles be amended to include a statement that the tiles are not recommended for flooring. I've had customers ask me if they could tile their floor with them. Definitely not!

Often when using "transfer this design" to create new products, elements from various layers don't carry over when the new product does not have the same design areas or layers. Is there any way that "transfer this design" could "flatten" (as a photoshop reference) the layers to one top layer, so that it guarantees that all design elements are moved to the new product? This way things won't get left behind/forgotten, and also would help customers who use the feature as well. Thanks!

I have found sold items that needed to be fixed. Areas for the customer to add text were missed. I have made the same item and included all the areas to be filled in. I did not want to end the original item because it has some sales so I adjusted the description area. It now includes the following All text is not easy to change. For this business card with easy to fill in areas copy and paste the following link. ~~~ https://www.zazzle.com/veterinary_clinic_appointment_back_business_card-256839706855701665 ~~~ In the past we were able to add links in the description area. I am sure this ability was taken advantage of so it was removed. A way to point a customer directly to an updated item would be great.

I love the new wording used for 'edit using design tool'. The only problem is that this is still hidden at the bottom of the pop-up window for 'personalize this template'. In many cases, especially for invites, this can be a very long list and thus a customer would have to scroll down this long list of template items before even finding this design area access. From the chat messages I receive, it's obvious that many customers don't even know that the design area exists. Why isn't this made a prominent option on the product page....why hide it in this out-of-the-way location??

Just noticed this looking at an invitation in the marketplace. It's for this product type. There is no such button, all the options are just there ever-present on the right side of the product page. Thought maybe this was for mobile users but no, on my Android phone, via the Zazzle app or my browser, there is still no such button, the options are just there on the page. This line only appears when the 5 x 7 size is selected. * Also - there are 8 total sizes, not 8 additional sizes 😉

This problem has been going on for a while now - I reported it back on the old forum and was assured that Zazzle had it under control, but I'm getting more reports of foam core boards arriving damaged. I've got a lot of wedding designs on these - seating charts, welcome signs, etc, so often the customer is working within a tight timeline and there isn't much time for a replacement to be made. I've referred the customer to support, but I just wanted to flag this issue again because I think there may still be a problem with the maker.

I think it would be great if we could mask our own uploaded shapes such as states with photos.

I'm still ruminating over the problem I posted here of helping customers choose the right paper for their wedding invitations, programs, seating charts etc, and I had a new idea. What about offering a "paper sampler" for designers and/or customers at either a free or nominal price. I'm thinking along the lines of fabric swatches or those cards you get in paint stores with color samples. Ideally you could order a little kit with samples of all the papers available for a given product. They wouldn't need to be big pieces of paper - maybe business card sized - with the name of the paper and/or description printed on each one and maybe a rainbow of colors at the bottom so you could get an idea of how the paper would impact the printed color. It wouldn't be quite as nice or illustrative as ordering a sample invite or card, but it would certainly be a more universal solution. It could even be a perk available to designers who have reached a certain level - it would be infinitely more valuable to me than business cards.

I'm getting a lot of questions from customers about paper types - mostly for invitations, but for other paper products as well. I try to point them to the page that describes all of the paper choices in detail, but since it's a popup, not a standalone page, I can't just send them a link, so it ends up being this complicated back and forth trying to point them to the correct location - especially since directions on how to find it vary depending on the device that they're using. Would it be possible to get standalone links to the pages describing all of the paper choices for various products? AND, it would be really helpful if the paper descriptions could be a bit more descriptive in terms of the weight of the paper. First of all, the descriptions generally give a paper weight, but it doesn't say if that's a cover weight or a text weight, and there's a BIG difference. Most customers won't understand that jargon anyhow, but even for us designers, it's very confusing since it isn't specified. Could the descriptions on paper sheets be modified to clarify if the paper is a cardstock or not? This is the main question customers have, and it's a source of great confusion. It really matters because some designs are supposed to be folded, and others are supposed to be flat, so the customer needs to know what they're getting. It would also be helpful if we had more granularity in specifying which papers are available for which designs. The other one that's a big deal is the poster papers. People seem to assume that the canvas gloss will stand up without a frame, but I don't believe it will. It needs to be clear that none of the poster papers are sturdy enough to stand up without a frame - I believe that's accurate - that's what I was told from a Zazzle rep on the old forum anyhow. Maybe Zazzle could do a video for each product, showcasing the different paper types? It would be easier for customers to see the differences in thickness that way. Thanks for considering this... it would be really helpful if this process could be made easier for the customer.

Had a question from a customer and wanted to have her add me as a collaborator so I could adjust her images for her. Was going to send her a link to how to do collaborations but searching help gives you options that mention collaboration but nothing that is "here's how to collaborate". Given that a search for collaboration is likely to be because I want to know how to do it, this isn't super helpful.

The glass "texture" overlay put on the glass cutting boards is terrible, it destroys the whole design, especially on the flat preview and on darker designs. Please get rid of it or add a more subtle one (on all previews). Cutting Board And here on plain black Cutting Board p.s. temporary product draft

Thank you, Zazzle, I love the new foil cards! I was wondering, is it possible to have the option of raised invitations, as well? (Where portions of the design are raised.) I've seen this elsewhere, and it really creates a stunningly beautiful effect. Just an idea I thought I'd put out there for future consideration.

Yes. This is a big ask. It would be quite powerful if we had the ability to convert text within the Zazzle design tool to native graphical elements/shapes like we have now (square/rectangle, circle, triangle, line). Once text is converted to a graphical shape or element, this opens up even more design possibilities with advanced effects like masking with graphics and other shapes. This would also reduce the need to upload graphics files (at least for designs that are primarily text-based). Thank you for your consideration, W.H.

Just thought I'd let you know, you have "Blame Someone Else Day" on September 13. This is wrong. This observance changes every year! "Blame Someone Else Day" is ALWAYS on the first Friday the 13th of every year. For this year it's May 13. ~~~~~~~ Your Hairstylist Appreciation Day is wrong also. It's always April 25th (not April 30). The sponsor changed the date to the 25th about 3 years ago. I didn't consider these "technical" problems so I didn't post this there. If I should have, I apologize.
