Hi everyone, Kudos to Zazzle for adding the quick response to the Chat feature! Loving it!
I have a few upgrade ideas about chat:
1) We get a lot of customer chat messages per day, and I wondered if there was a way to manage them? I understand I can delete messages, and I do, but it's more than that. I'd like to file them away when done (see #4, below)
2) I also would like to be able to make an auto-reply that's actually automatic, for example: so that my husband and I can take a vacation without my having to go into chat on a daily basis and post a reply, and feel guilty that I'm not 'at work.' I think we need to manage customer expectations about 'chat.' The term is usually used on websites where there is a live person at the other end. We live in Australia, and do not operate during the same business hours/days. So if customers are expecting us to be here, and get an urgent response, they will be let down. I don't like doing that. An auto-reply would be ideal to let them know when we may attend to their inquiry.
3) Could we possibly have a selection of 'quick replies' that we could use, which we could set up and use in our own brand voice, etc, for things such as: directing to customer service, etc. You know the feature where we can go in and add responses on our profile to things? Something like that, but for chat, where there would be a drop-down box of replies that we can choose from. I can see this being SUPER useful for delivery enquiries, etc. I currently have developed a notepad 'swipe document' that I copy and paste text from, which I can use, but it's still burdensome, and I'd prefer something within the chat feature itself. 4) When it comes to saving chats, I'd love it if we could somehow organize them into folders, like I do with my Gmail account. I'd like to save them for future reference, by theme, so having that kind of facility would be very, very useful. 5) If there were some way to identify whether they have seen our chat message, AND if we have replied to their message. Viber uses a check mark, so when you send it there's a check, and when they've viewed it there is another check, so you know. Perhaps something like that. Also, maybe if the color of text could change, or some way to flag new v/s replied to messages. In the same vein, if we could flag important/urgent messages, that need attending to first thing. They currently get lost in the lineup of messages, and we have to go through each and every one, opening them up, and then creating an analog list of message + sender, to keep track of it all. It's not ideal! So I guess I'm asking if it could be set up like an email system?

Please give us the ability to hide the non-printing puzzle piece outlines (for the lack of a better word, as they're not gridlines) for Acrylic Puzzles. ETD: Please also give us a similar option to hide the non-printing layout for Dartboards. thank you W.H. thank you W.H.

Please bring back the option to select and delete multiple images. I was able to keep My Images under control when we had the action button option to select and bulk delete them, but now there are just too many to delete one by one. I imagine these are taking up unnecessary space as well.

There is a new 30% off promo that started today, and one of the items on sale is listed as a Wine Cooler. I have tried searching for them and none come up in the search field using that description. In the past, this item has always been referred to as a Wine Bag or Wine Tote. The only "Coolers" that appear in a search are Can Coolers and Bottle Coolers. Perhaps "Wine Cooler" is not a good name to use?

I couldn't find anything on this. I have been meaning to ask for a long time. Is there a way to lock layers when designing? I have found the only way to work on items up front is to hide the layers below. This is not great because I don't know if my text or whatever is lined up to work with the layers below. I have thought to ask about this many times but by the time I finish fixing the item I forget until the next time. It is not a daily thing but it can be so much easier if we can simply lock layers instead of hiding them to be able to work on the above layers. I have sometimes given up on items that could look much better. This happens because of my slow ISP service. If you have super speed it probably isn't an issue. Thanks. Also - When I finished this I hit the numbered icon on top. I didn't mean to and just wanted to undo it. I am able to right click and undo but it doesn't always work. It would be great to have an undo button in the forum. Hit the heading button to change one line of text and the whole thing changes. No way to undo it unless I go into the html. This is not hard to do but undo would be so much easier. I am leaving it for effect on the issue. 🙂

could we get the See My Product link here moved near the top so we dont have to scroll down to get to it, or get rid of that page entirely i think its easy to see while were making products, using the mouse, hitting the button, scrolling, the last thing we want to do is scroll one more page to get to that link ok for the first time i saw there was another link up higher but its not bold or visible to the eye and i would be very uncomfortable hitting that link in between all that go there now i think the whole page could be eliminated, theres just an email link and 2 links to our own products and store which we all have readily available to us at all times so after we post our product it immediately goes to the product page

ok first im not trying to come off offensive, rude, or anything. i love zazzle, im still new to the whole thing, 8 months and i put alot of time in here but there is something completely not right with the way the designer centers anything. text, images. its pretty basic, anyone can see it. i was an ace drafter in high school and again im not being insulting, i cannot believe the designers disrespect for centering. its a simple concept, put the image or text on the center line and it should be centered exactly i couldnt get a screenshot showing the center line mac wouldnt let me it takes it from the image but you can trust me i know where it is and this is where the designer actually put the text on the product. 65 pixels from the right side of the phone and 58 pixels from the side of the phone it happens all day long making products, images and text do not center it happens on any product, maybe it works out on some products where they are centered, but ive been dealing with this the whole 8 months ive been here. and i end up manually centering alot of stuff because the designer is faulty i wasted months after i made templates for Quick Create, made alot of products, then realized none of the text was centered on them, tons of products. i had to throw them all away. then painstakingly, and i mean a pain, center every products text myself. its hard because you cant get it 12 pixels this way and 12 pixels that way. the centering tool bounces around and is honestly off center every time you cant get it exact months it took me to redo all my templates, then post my products with quick create i had to do for the second time this whole thing is not about quick create just making single products too i started putting notes to the buyer in the personalize thing that they may have to center their different initials or text themselves because the designer we have doesnt know how to center it itself. i didnt write it out to them like that i was just making a serious point, the designer is not right, its faulty and doesnt work properly

I rarely use my Saved Designs unless it is something that appears on the first page (first 24 designs). I use it mostly to go to a design I am currently working on. I frequently think there is a design somewhere in the 114 pages of saved designs but it is too slow trying to look through all those pages. If I could search by product type and search for design titles I believe I would used the saved designs much more frequently, especially now that the Titles, Descriptions and Tags are all included with our saved designs now.

In other apps I've used, a background photo can be moved in the design tool to set it where you want it. For instance - if your background photo is slightly larger than the print area - you can move it up or down to set it where you want it. Can this be done in Z design tool and I just don't know how? If not, it would be helpful.

Most posts in the Show Me are simple lists, but a few have 2 columns. Using 2 columns uses half as much space and therefore there are half as many pages to scroll through. I think it would be good if the forum was set up for a 2 column display - or at leasr someone could write a simple tutorial on how to display 2 columns in a post as it is not obvious in the interface and put it in a prominent place in the forum.

I would like to suggest that the product description for Ceramic Tiles be amended to include a statement that the tiles are not recommended for flooring. I've had customers ask me if they could tile their floor with them. Definitely not!

Just thought I'd let you know, you have "Blame Someone Else Day" on September 13. This is wrong. This observance changes every year! "Blame Someone Else Day" is ALWAYS on the first Friday the 13th of every year. For this year it's May 13. ~~~~~~~ Your Hairstylist Appreciation Day is wrong also. It's always April 25th (not April 30). The sponsor changed the date to the 25th about 3 years ago. I didn't consider these "technical" problems so I didn't post this there. Is it possible to have the 'ON THESE PRODUCTS' tab which currently resides below the 'about this design' description, moved to the more prominent location below the product image? Do customers read the product description and if it is lengthy, less likely they make it to this part of the page. This is a very helpful set of alternatives so it would be great if it was more prominently placed.
