I love the new backend look 🙂 but I did notice these two functions aren't working the same since the new format was introduced on the product pages: When viewing and copying tags as text, connecting 'plus signs' used to be included between the words in long tail keywords. This made copying and pasting so much easier but seems to not be working this way since the change. By selecting one product and then using the shift key before selecting the second product further down the page, we used to be able to select a group of products all at once. This function isn't working on the newly formated pages. Can we please get these functions back or is there a different way to get the same result?

Hi @Scott, in the backend we can select the amount of products being shown, 24 - 48 - 72 - 96 - 204. Is it possible to make it so that we can choose one of those choices as a preferred default, so one doesn't have to make that selection every time when pulling up the backend to work in?

@ScottThe space between the @ mention and the text after it seems to remove itself once posted. I just used Scott's name as an example here to better show what I mean.

I LOVE the new back-end products page with the adjustable width. My only complaint is that it only shows an abbreviated title. In the old version you could at least hover over the title to see the complete text. This is problematic for a number of reasons - mostly because I try very hard to ensure that all of my titles are unique, and now in order to check the title of a product to be sure I'm not creating a duplicate, I have to either open the individual product page or the details popup in order to see the title. It would be really helpful if we could see the whole title, and I wouldn't mind if it wrapped to another line. It would be even better if the title could include the auto-appended text so we can easily tell which product it is! Comes in handy when you've got the same artwork on different products (cards, postcards, magnetic cards, stickers, etc.)

I just noticed that the locations of the action drop down list and share button under each product on the products tab are reversed from how they used to be. This is driving me nuts - I'm so used to clicking in a certain place for each for so long it's really messing with my workflow. 😧 Is it possible to switch it back?

Hey I noticed when you post in the forums in the emoji menu there is a category for custom emojis that isn't being used yet. Emojis aren't my top priority or anything, but since it is already there... Zazzle should make some! 😃👍

You know, kind of how they were in the last forum when we posted from our account. If this is possible it would be nice. I know you guys are busy setting this whole new thing up but maybe down the road that could be on the todo list? Sorry if somebody already suggested this... I didn't see one.

May be a big ask, but ... for products like bunting flags, throw pillows, the acrylic coaster sets, and presentation folders (to name a few) this could translate into improved efficiencies -- namely, faster production creation times. Rather than select all the elements in the design area, copy, and then paste 15 more times, having a "copy-and-paste this design" feature would allow designers/customers/users to replicate all the elements (and attributes -- kerning, leading, etc.) at the touch of a button. For bunting flags, this ''copy-and-paste this design" feature could also be expanded to "copy-and-paste this design" on alternating printing areas. So if I created a new design on Flag 1, could be (batch) replicated to the remaining odd-numbered flags. My second design on Flag 2 could also be (batch) replicated to the remaining even-numbered flags.

Please add Design Placement to throw blankets (the ones with the fringes). Currently, there is no way to see and edit these in portrait/vertical orientation within the design tool. Elegant 35th Coral Wedding Anniversary Celebration Throw Blanket | Zazzle.com While I don't mind tilting my head to the right (like the RCA dog -- movement is good), for customers who like to modify a design further, the lack of a true WYSIWYG capability in the design tool can be a bit disconcerting. Interestingly, Design Placement is available for fleece blankets. Thank you!

Regarding the coming backend changes to our store, this sounds great! I know we've been asking for a while to be able to bulk delete discontinued products. Thank you very much for listening to our suggestions. I just have one request, though. Can you please FIRST fix the current indexing issues with product merchandising changes not sticking, and moving products from one category to another taking days to update? And please don't break anything when you implement the backend changes, and DON'T do it on a Friday, LOL! Sometimes it seems like one little tweak breaks the whole site, and it always happens on the Friday, so we have to wait all weekend for things to get fixed!

It's always appeared to me that the speed style bottle openers preview backwards or at least left handed here. I'm accustomed to seeing them read left to right from the opener end of the tool (which is also the way I design them, no offense left handers..), but it means that they are upside-down if shown in the horizontal view.. here's an example - my trusty park tool speed opener - reads left to right and right side up when used right handed. vs Medieval Floral Illuminated Letter A Monogram Bar Key by Brightly_Illuminated

I think it would be nice to have an icon with a link to our profile. And could you please add our activity within our profile? I have no clue what I've asked, where I've asked it or who I've responded to. Thanks!

Many text fields, e.g. when replying, are small in height and the resizing (dragging) doesn't work, which makes it a pain to edit the content (Win10, Chrome, desktop). In some cases the resizing works, in other cases not. If it's a setting and not a bug of the tool you're using, please allow resizing on all text fields, or make them at least taller in height (especially on replies). Thanks!

Perhaps we should think about removing BBCODE from the product sharing choices under Link to This? Seeing as it is causing confusion and the new Zazzle Community forums can't use it anyway.

I'm getting the impression from the things that Scott has said that Zazzle wants to use these particular forums almost like a submission form rather than an actual discussion in order to make it easier for the mods to keep up with feedback and technical problems. That makes total sense. So, my question is, if I have a related but slightly different suggestion, would it be preferable to start a new thread rather than replying to an existing one? I have resisted doing that in the past because I didn't want to create extra work for anyone by starting a new thread - but I'm starting to think maybe it would actually make it easier for y'all if I put things in a new post rather than in a reply on a long thread. Likewise, on the technical forum, if I have a related problem to one I see posted, would it be better to start a new thread rather than replying to an old one? Just trying to sort out the best way to use this new system. Thanks!

I've needed to use this a bit lately as people want to know about shipping for Valentine's Day. I know this seems minor but it reads "contact our customer support." The "our", in my opinion, is misleading. It would be better to leave out the our or say "Zazzle's customer support." I helps clarify that we are not Zazzle employees by showing we are a separate entity. -- I also think it's critical that when someone leaves a message for a designer that they are immediately shown they need to turn on email messaging, or given the option to turn it on right there if it is off.

I know that the power of a database comes from its searchability and that crud in means crud out. Data input needs to be consistent to maximize usefulness. With posts here, we can all make up tags (data input) on the fly which is really cool but that means results from searching the forum will be as random as results searching the marketplace where what you get depends on what the designer/poster thought to enter which might be way different than what the searcher thinks to enter. Now that we have a high-end forum that's searchable by key words and/or by clicking on something in the tag cloud/list, we need some consistent tagging to really maximize the potential here to quickly find what you're looking for. Whether it's a Creator looking for help with the design tool, or a Customer looking for info on shipping options, or an affiliate looking for a certain design style .. I think having some consistent tags to choose from would help make things more cohesive. Even just for defining whether the question, comment, tech issue is with the forum or the website. I'm not saying we shouldn't be able to make up our own tags (we should, that's a cool feature and one probably most useful in the Show Me section) but there should also be a way to select from a set of common/standard tags already in use to tie like things together for the benefit of the searcher. I'm thinking of Stack Exchange as an example.

When allowing for text editing on the product page, can fonts and colors be added to the page so the customer isn't limited to the choices the designer made on the product? Thanks!

Using animated pictures for the post thumbnails makes them difficult to browse. It'd be great if they could all be static images. Motion sickness means that to check the news, I have to only glance for a few seconds at a time, because the constantly moving images make me sick. I know I'm more sensitive to that than most, but imagine what it'll look like if several posts in a row have an animation all doing different things. It's a bit like walking into one of those optical illusion rooms that's designed to make people dizzy.

It would be fantastic if we could see the additional special swashes/curlicues for applicable fonts in the design tool via a separate control panel. Yes, the Unicode code can be typed in as a workaround, but this can be quite tedious depending on the complexity of the design.
