This problem has been going on for a while now - I reported it back on the old forum and was assured that Zazzle had it under control, but I'm getting more reports of foam core boards arriving damaged. I've got a lot of wedding designs on these - seating charts, welcome signs, etc, so often the customer is working within a tight timeline and there isn't much time for a replacement to be made. I've referred the customer to support, but I just wanted to flag this issue again because I think there may still be a problem with the maker.

And here's a picture from the customer. This is typical of the sorts of pictures my customers send me for this problem, with creases all across the board like it just got crunched or something. Not sure if it's a problem with packaging or what, but it's happening WAY too often for comfort.

I have also just received a message from a customer with the same complaint. Please can this be looked into, especially as this is a popular product.

Photo below of the damaged board.

@Mark

So I just got another message from the customer who sent the image I posted above. She received a replacement board, but it's even MORE damaged than the original!! I'm going to transfer it to a poster for her, and have her contact Customer Support again, but this REALLY needs to be addressed!

@Mark Thanks! I sell a lot of these things, so it's worrying to me...

I have been getting more and more chat messages from customers who purchase one of my designs on a foam core board and it arrives damaged. So far, 3 customers this week reported this type of problem to me. I refer them to Zazzle Customer Care. Many of these customers received their damaged item with only a few days before their event for which they ordered it, so there is insufficient time to send out a replacement. They are very disappointed and sometimes even angry about it.

Is there perhaps another maker that can ensure these foam core boards are produced, shipped and received with a higher success rate for good results? I sell a lot of these and I am concerned for the customers who spend time creating something special for their event and then are unable to use what they receive.

@DancingPelican I'm right there with you! I've even thought about hiding all of my foam core boards and transferring all of the designs to posters instead. It seems like a scary high percentage of these are arriving damaged, and since many of the ones I sell are wedding seating charts, there's usually no time for a replacement. The reports from my customers indicated that the box is not damaged, just the board inside of the box which indicates to me that it's a problem on the maker's end, and not damage incurred during delivery.

Hi, I'm sad to report that unfortunately the problem is still there. In the last three weeks I had three customers complaining of getting their foam board signs damaged. They were all very distressed as now they don't have enough time to get a replacement before their event. There is definitely a need to add more protection so foam boards can stand the shipping abuse? ...Just a heads up to Zazzle about this!

I ordered my foam board Welcome Sign and the 1st one arrived damaged and just today the replacement arrived damaged. How can one get a foam board Welcome Sign that is not damaged?
