PLEASE make the order of the feedback section conform to the remainder of the entire forum.

I.E. All new comments (whether new suggestion, or response to earlier suggestion, are sorted as newest and show first. I have the forums sorted NEWEST to OLDEST.

Currently one has to page through the 8 plus pages of threads to find the bolded title to read latest responses. The responses are not sortable to show newest first.

I think there might be one more thread that is also not organized.

Hi @BKMuir,

Passing this along to the Team now.

Thanks 🙂

I agree, very inconvenient, and also I don't understand the difference between Hot Ideas and Top Ideas. Sort by newest is the most adequate order.

Often enough, I've tried all three of the choices, and still no threads show up, so I simply don't bother, selecting to set all as having been read, not wanting to scroll through all the pages. I've probably missed things because of this.

Still no reasoning behind the order of the "feedback" section.

We are now up to 10 pages that need to be scanned to find the recent posts and/or comments.  The other day, there was a new posting on page 7 - one would assume that new postings would be at the beginning or the end of a list ????

How do the moderators find new posts or comments?

I was just coming here to comment on the same issue as @BKMuir . Yesterday I had to scroll to page 9 to find what one comment was added to a post because it wasn't at the top of (Hot Ideas). Today I was lucky to only scroll to page 2 to find the most recent comment.

It would be helpful if this had the "Most Recent" dropdown selection. It's no fun scrolling nine pages to find one comment. I would hate to miss useful information because scrolling much beyond page nine is not using my time wisely on here.

Okay - I thought that I had alleviated the pain of searching out new comments.

  • I note the # of new posts listed in the main menu
  • I page down the first page of the first of the 3 "organized" options (New Ideas)
  • If I have not read the noted # of messages, I scan the 1st page of the other two "organized" options (Top Ideas, and Hot Ideas)
  • I go back to the main forum menu and see if the computer agrees that I have read all of the new posts
  • If there are more posts still noted, I page through the 2nd and 3rd pages of the 3 options.
  • If I still have not found the newer posts I select "Mark all as read"

I refulse to page through all of the 16 pages that are now disorganized regarding latest posts.

The 3 listed topics are not defined as to why something is in one division and may, or may not be in another. Perhaps the IT team can utilize these topics, but the general reader would greatly benefit from a sort by "Most Recent Comment"

Today, I finally found a new comment on page 23!

PLEASE give us ability to see LAST POSTED items.

Today I did some "research" to locate the THREE unread posts (assuming these are new, as I visit the forums every day and have been marking all UNFOUND posts as READ in this particular section.

So ... 3 items to locate:

Under HOT items (assume that these are the ACTIVE posts that have recent responses)
First page/First Item - original post 4/16/23 - recent response 4/18/23
2nd item found on page 29 !! -- originally posted 4/18/23
3rd item found on page 34 -- Original post on 4/16 - response today on 4/18/23

Please set a sort order that has the latest posts on the first page (no matter when the original was posted).
Some of the responses are really worth reading.

Still no help with this sort.

Please allow a sort as in the "regular" forum threads -- MOST RECENT.
Frequently I have one item that hides from my search efforts - usually found somewhere between the 20th and 50th page. That is approximately 300 keystrokes to find the illusive item that I am often not that interested in.

Am I the only one that this irritates? Does anyone else have a foolproof way to find all of the recent comments?
