For years I waited for wall plaques to make a debut on Zazzle, and when they did I was greatly disappointed in the product branding and product description. Why brand them as Award Plaques? Many creators design them for displaying family portraits, verse, prayers, quotes, photography and more. I strongly encourage Zazzle to change the product description for these plaques. And they should just be called "Wooden Wall Plaques."

Never even thought about it because I never go to or made award plaques. Off to go look.

I believe we can rename/override in the title and also when we create descriptions, for now. So instead of when the name award plaque  is auto  added to the title, remove it and type in wall plaque.

I have done it many times with the inappropriately named gift box, changing it to jewelry box or keepsake box. (To me a gift box is usually low cost and  made of cardboard.)

Yes, I already do remove the words "award plaque" in the titles and replace it with "wall plaque." And I categorize them in Plaques and Signs within the Home Decor and Frames and Displays marketplace department.

I never even knew this product existed! Plaques usually come up to the ones with the stand, or the wood plaques.

I could not agree more! I learned about this product by browsing the Show Me forum, probably when I found  a thread you created. Then I made a product to fit and found the product name to be extremely limiting. I agree a name change would help, now that you mention it! Good suggestion @northwestphotos

I designed some as awards and they have sold.

I didn't know those existed. Basically, it's a framed poster? There's no information what the printing area is  (paper? doesn't look like wood or MDF so I assume it's paper?).

If this is paper framed in MDF then maybe specify what paper exactly? matte, semi gloss etc. If this is not paper, then what is it? Is there no glass to cover the printed area?

Also, great product. For family photos, just ideal. And for many other purposes. But knowing what exactly it is would help tremendously.
