Hi Guys! I'm maddy, I have this Suggestion that's been rollin around my head for a quiet period of time, I Might be off topic, But Don't guys Think that Zazzle Should add a dark theme option to the Website, (to us as a creators as well), The white theme is oky, but it's not comfortable at all, it's too Lighty especially by night, i avoid working by night just because of it, it hurts!
Thoughts?

Odd. I find all web sites with light-colored text on a dark background difficult to read, and after a while, a strain on the eyes. Can't you, as CrazyMermaid implied, turn down the brightness of your screen?

decreasing the brightness of my screen would even make it worse, because i will make it harder for my eyes to navigate,

Same for me, Barbara! I can't read more than a few sentences of light text on a dark screen without getting spots like when you look outside on a bright sunny day, and then look inside. And sometimes I'll get an optical migraine.

I See where you are coming from, Thats common, However The suggestion is meant for people who have problems in navigating thru a lighty Screens, Thus it would be no harm in add it as an option, So you can easily turn it off/on whenever you want!

I have the Dark Reader extension (for Google Chrome) installed on my laptop. Under the Filter tab, I select the Light mode and tweak the Brightness, Contrast, Sepia, and Grayscale attributes as desired.
It's not a perfect solution, but Dark Reader is quite useful in toning down the glaring whiteness of the Z design tool.

Thanks for recommendation pal! I've tried the extention, it's good so far, but it seems buggy a bit.

I just checked, and Firefox has a collection of add-on themes that look as if they, too, would do the trick.

I don't think that black theme would make it any difficult when it's comes to reading texts, you can try the tool above, and see how it goes!

Creating screen modes for a web site as opposed to what software can do would likely require an enormous amount of manipulation in the coding and result in horrendous bugs. So, yes, using browser manipulation might be the best course.

You could also purchase an inexpensive pair of blue screen glasses to cut down on the glare. I have very bad eyes and I've found they help me with the reducing eye strain.

I tried blue light glasses, but I can't use them during the day, because my window is on one side, and the light coming through the window causes a glare, because it can't get through the blue light blocker.

The Design tool does have a dark mode- it's under settings. I somehow got switched to that recently, and couldn't figure out how to turn it off until some kind person in the forum told me about the settings.

I mean the design tool on Zazzle. It's what you use to post products. Sorry if I was unclear. Even though the whole site doesn't have a dark mode, maybe that would help you at least be able to work on designs at night.
