What's the First Thing you Sold?

There's a "last thing you sold" thread, but since I'm a Zazzle newbie and there many newcomers like me I thought it would be nice to have a "What's the First Thing you sold?" thread. That first sale is always an exciting moment!

Of course for those who have years of Zazzle experience, feel free to post your first thing you sold, if you can still remember it 🙂

My first sale was this wireless mouse back in 2016, a month after I started my Zazzle journey.

Cool bokeh effect, "Product designed by AN Electronics is no longer available", didn't know they had wireless mouses! But no longer available it seems.

This thread is such a good idea!
I didn't remember what mine was but it turns out it's this postcard:

It was sold just 3 days after I've created it and about a month after I started here in 2014. Never sold it again though 😃 It's also one of the very few photography images I have in my shop so it doesn't really represent my work 😅

In early 2015 I opened a now-defunct store with a handful of products for a specific group who wanted business cards they could personalize but that would all look the same. Then I created Col's Creations, mostly just to save the name so I could maybe try out creating a "real" store for myself sometime. In March 2015 I added one product to it - this Justice dog collar, which I designed with my sister & her dog in mind.

Then I walked away for almost a year. And then, in Jan 2016, that dog collar sold, 10 months after I published it. I count that as my first real sale as it was the first to a random stranger on the internet who somehow happened onto my product. My only product. So for ten months I had a store with only ONE product in it, a store I wasn't paying any attention to, and then that one product somehow sold itself.

It's only sold twice since then but since there is nothing to personalize on it (it's just a single graphic I made to fit in Photoshop) I'm OK with that and it will live forever as-is in my shop as my first ever random sale.

My very first sale was this Owl illustration luggage tag back in 2014, the Owl illustration was also my very first design here! I was so excited! It sold to a customer in LA. This luggage tag has gone on to sell many more times too 🙂
