Hello! Any one with the same issue? I have Collections disappeared from the public store front.

When in Store Management , (althou I see them but without any info under Occasion &Type ) if I click on any of them, it gives technical issue! If I try to create a new one, nothing happens. Screenshot 2024-03-15 at 10.28.08 AM.png

If I try to add a product to the collection thag is not appearing on the public Store I also get error, like this one:

We have a fix for the issue that is causing collections to show a Request Error page. This fix will probably go live tomorrow evening.

And apparently is an old recurrent issue that might take weeks to be fixed 😫 In addition it looks like - oddly - it is impacting also my sales!

Just got a similar issue, created a new collection but I can't find it anywhere. Creating a collection with the same name gives an error that it already exists so it must be somewhere.

I have exactly the same problem

Maggie_B_Design

I had the same problem with a whole bunch of my collections yesterday, the info on occasion and type were blanked out and the collections were not accessible. When I tried to open them, I got an request error message.

All these collections are gone now! From my backend AND store front!

At the same time, my Zrank dropped yesterday...I hope this is just a coincident.

oh no! this is super scary! hope Zazzle gets it sorted out straight away!!!!!!!!!

It definitely is super scary!

@Scott

In case that some samples are helpful:

I just remembered that I pinned some of the collections to Pinterest. When I clicked through from there, the collection pages show up, but when I click on edit, I get a request error. And, as said, they are gone from my backend and front store. And they don't show up on the single product pages.

I can't remember all, but all of my Easter collections and some of my business collections are definitely gone.

yeah that is exactly what is happening to me😱 all gone. I really hope Zazzle support comes in aid as we creators really spend a lot of time an efforts and this situation/glitch is really demotivating!

I can see your collections when I click those links. Maybe Zazzle is fixing the problem?

Hmmm not mine 😢 my collections open a Zazzle error page only. And all the products belonging to those collections are fatherless basically.

@Scott any idea why?

Yes, the collections exist somewhere out there, but mine are neither showing in my backend, storefront or on the the respective product pages, I only could retrieve the collection links by clicking through from my Pinterest pins.

Definitely vanished are all my Easter collections and some of my business collections.

But as the collection pages are visible via the links, I assume that they somehow simply got disconnected from the store and the single products. I hope Zazzle will be able to fix it soon.

What bothers me most is, that my Zrank dropped one point down at the same day the collections disappeared, which can be a coincident, but would be a quite peculiar one as I am actually selling quite well at the moment.

I too am having trouble making new collections in my various stores. However, the collections are being made but they are ONLY appearing under my account name.
I have 2 stores under my name "Elizabeth Bell". My new collections are only visible under my "Elizabeth Bell" account name. Check yours.

@Elizabethb nice spot! and thanks for sharing this insight.

I was able to retrieve my recent collections from my member profile and add the store I wanted it to show up in (via Collection Channels > Your Stores).

From that point, I was able to Add products from the Product section within that Collection (unfortunately, still *not* from the backend).

(Note that this works only for recent collections. I still can't edit the older/existing collections).

Same, the ones I was trying to create, are visible only under my account name too! 😵

Two threads are going on about this. This one is more active. I added to this one last night. I have a long list of collections that I cannot access. But the public can see those collections. I would add them all here but hopefully, the technical dept will see that thread as well. https://community.zazzle.com/t5/technical-issues/two-easter-collections-entirely-missing-from-all-co...

The technical team is working on the issue as per Zazzle support reply to my email, I trust they will sort this out soon for everyone.

I can now see my collections. However, I cannot edit those collections. So that is a plus.

me not yet, still getting error and still my collection are not showing 😥

Same here. Commenting to follow.

Mine are showing "gone" as well but when I click one of my pins (a pin I made for a collection that is now "missing"), it took me straight to it. Also sales are WAY down in the last couple of days. I'll be cool for the issue to resolve...

marina_Orlando

You are right, If I click on the pin, it shows the collection, although it is gone from my store.

Also my sales went dramatically down this week, since this glitch!

I know they are working on it, as per zazzle support response to my email, but Ido too  they resolve it quickly!

I see the issue has not been resolved. I put the entire list of collections that I cannot access on another thread which I have listed previously. Don't know if I should add it here as well. It is very long.

@Scott thank you! Collection are back!!!!!!!!!! 😍

@Scott

Unfortunately not for everyone, I can see them under my account but not under my store "No collections found" for business collections.

UPDATE: After manually setting "Event or Occasion" and "Type" for each of the missing collections under My profile, they appeared again under my store.

I had only 14 missing, which was doable in this case.

Based on the example links that have been shared, I do believe that this is fixed. It's very possible that you're experiencing a different issue, but I don't quite know what that issue is. Can you describe what you are seeing? Can you share some example collections that help illustrate the issue?

Pixelan
Valued Contributor

My business collections from early this year all had their  "Event or Occasion" and "Type" set to "-" nothing. And I think they were disconnected from my store for some reason. Today I set the event and type again manually which resulted in them being found in my store again, so unfortunately I can't give an example anymore.

So luckily the collections are back again. thanks for checking.

@Pixelan You are absolutely correct! The same thing happened to all my business collections, so I went in and reconnected all of them. Now the different products show up in there designated slots, like the rest of the cross-sell collections already do. They're still missing in public mode, but I just changed them over & suspect that's an indexing issue. And now the collection is showing under the product on the product page, as it should.

But had I not read this, I never would have known & they'd all still be a mess/missing.

Marcia

Update: indexed, all good. Everything is back.

I still have a couple of collections missing…

Can you share some example links for collections that are missing?

@Scott I have several missing collections that not appear in the collections section or at the bottom of the products page, It only appears when i search to add a product to it

Go to your Collections backend and then filter by Type: Other. This will show you collections that need attention. Once you add a collection type and ocassion you should be all set.

Kate3

Thank you so much for your quick response. But it says No collections found. 😞

33dbft

Thank you  @Scott I go to Collections backend and filter by: Other But the missing Collections are not shown, and i filter by other types: Cross-Sell / Event Suite, Similar Style / Theme, Different Styles / Themes, Gift Theme, and Collections still missing

Here are some links to the products in the missing collection:

https://www.zazzle.com/black_border_all_caps_full_name_note_card-256612988015895412

https://www.zazzle.com/black_and_white_monogram_all_caps_typography_note_card-256842922832252345

When you click on the above product links, you can see the "Shop this collection" when you scroll down the page. But for the sample product links below, no "Shop this collection" can be found when scrolling down:

https://www.zazzle.com/black_pink_beauty_salon_qr_code_loyalty_business_card-256950281716096319

https://www.zazzle.com/black_pink_chic_beauty_aesthetics_loyalty_business_card-256564134192063110

I can only see 98 collections from my backend. I think I have a little over a hundred total collections.

Thanks for looking into this, @Scott . Appreciate it!

In short, this is a Cross-Sell type of collection, but you don't have any Recommended products in the collection. I would change the collection type from Cross-Sell over to something else.

The cross-sell collection type is special in the sense that we provide guidance on the types of products that we want to see. This is based on customer activity that we've observed over many years. Cross-sell collections are a bit more structured so that we can provide a different experience than in the past. Unfortunately, the down side is that only some collections will qualify as a cross-sell collection.
