Cover Photo NOT showing

What KeegansCreation says plus you need to go into the edit mode to change the image you want to showcase, as otherwise it will stay what you had before.

All steps are done, the uploaded image has been accepted, I did this 3 days ago but still the image isn't showing.

Update:  Cover photo isn't showing 2 weeks after uploading, even though you are actively promoting this.

Also when choosing the marketing image for Bone China Mugs, what you select - handle to the right to show off the design for example - the selection doesn't show and it goes back to a sort of default (opposite the handle but if you want a design on both sides of the mug, this is no good to display the design).

I would like to raise this issue again. Currently I have several products that have cover photos which don't show in the MP. They are visible in my store and on the product page. I had edited the view several days ago. Here are two examples.

I have products I made cover photos for over 2 weeks ago and NONE of my products are showing the cover photos in the marketplace. I can see the cover photos in the back end of my shop and my public shop.

Interesting.  Just noticed the same.  They are in public individual shop - but not when they are returned via search in the MP.

It's pretty bad at the moment. Nothing sticks. It automatically reverts to the default view.

Can't edit or delete my post, but it looks like at the moment it just needs an extra visit to the edit details page to choose the cover view. This is as it has been before. As the stats for last modified date are not working, it is hard to find everything back.

I'm confused by this.  Since the cover shows in the back end - it's already chosen as the default 'view'.  ???

Are you saying your covers revert to the originals even in the back end?

In the back end it shows the cover photo as a default. In the past, on occasion, this didn't mean that the cover photo was showing in the MP. Redoing the steps using the Edit Details used to force it to change. At this point that little action does nothing for the view in the MP.

I see.  Thanks.  Right - not working now.  Has a moderator given an update on what's going on with cover photos not showing?  I haven't seen one. 😔

Also have this issue too with water bottle labels. Show in the back end ok but the store front still shows the original.

I uploaded these  March 21st  so there must another indexing lag happening

Like @LMGildersleeve these CP's show ok in the back end but not in store front or marketplace. They appear ok in their collection.  Also the same in the .uk site

@LMGildersleeve , @plumb4me , are you able to see those cover photos (the ones you referring to here) showing up as the marketplace thumbnails now?  If not, are you taking a break from creating more, or are you still making even more?

Finally, after about 2 weeks, I have some of the cover photos showing up in the marketplace. I checked earlier today, but I haven't checked them all yet. I am still making cover photos.

I have made more since these were created and the newer covers are showing in the MP.

Hey everyone, two things:

1. Indexing is behind at the moment, so recent changes may not be displayed publicly just yet. We're working on this now.

Hey Scott - not being flip - but can you define 'recent'? Going back to at least 3/17, is that right?

No Scott this is not the same issue. Ours is the cover photo is visible in the back end but not in the MP nor public store. There is no disappearing of cover photos after uploading them.
Here are two examples. In the MP and public store they have no cover photos.

I'm having the same issue its been about 5 days since I did my first cover photos and they're still not in the market place but do show up in the back end of my shop. Is this just indexing or do I need to go through and individually change the photos over even though it shows up in the back end and when I click on edit that image is chosen, because that seems like a very long and tedious process.

As of now, March 31st ET a.m., my cover photos have loaded in the MP & public store view. 

I suspect the log jam has let loose in indexing. TY 🙏
