My Store Is Stuck

i was going thru alot of products for days putting them on facebook and twitter, get some traffic. when i sort by Last Viewed Date now its stuck at 6 days ago, products i opened after that dont show up, products customers are looking at, nothing shows up

its kinda bugging me, whats with my store

the last product i sold on the 27th under quick stats the

There aren't enough people here freaking out compared to the size of the community who depend on Holiday sales.

Just because someone isn't complaining doesn't mean they're not affected. I am. I was hoping to catch some last minute sale from the Christmas products I recently made. But that looks like that won't happen now. (I depend on this income as well – it's not a hobby for me.) And you have to wonder what percentage of designers actually use this forum. Zazzle knows there's a problem & hopefully it'll be fixed soon. (or not?) Once it's finally fixed, then there'll be another thing that breaks. And they'll eventually fix that. But what would be nice is, at the minimum, to get an update & a tentative ETA.

I don't consider notification of a serious tech issue a complaint. It is a legitimate concern in the last quarter of the fiscal year.

Many of us look and see that it has been reported and move on.  I don't feel the need to add that I'm having an issue too post...  If you have been here long enough you know that this happens from time to time, but there is little point in "freaking out" about it.

But maybe I am wrong... but no one is posting that everything is working properly...  after 7 days I would have thought if things were working properly for someone that they would have chimed in...

But a Z mod did chime in and noted that engineering is aware of the problem...

This is  the ONLY time in 7 years this serious a flaw has happened. And why no one has made an announcement shows how much they really care.

Respectfully- Views not updating happens every few month.  Issues with items not showing up right away in royalty history has happened a few times in the past few years.  There was once a point in time where sales did not show in our earnings summary page.  That did not last long. 

But there is another post, linked above, where Z notes they are aware of the issue.

All in all, for me at least, sales are still coming in.  The glitch that started happening this morning where we did not see the sale in royalty history has already been fixed.  I would love to see the last viewed get fixed as I've been pumping out a bunch of new stuff lately and would like to know if it is being viewed...  but as there is not much I can do about it, I'll keep designing.  Z will get it fixed.  Sales should slow for most over the next week or two and Z staff will have more time to focus on a stat not updating as opposed to making sure that sales are fulfilled and that customers are happy.  Although I would prefer for things to work perfectly, I understand that such a huge platform is going to have bugs from time to time.   I'll cut Z some slack and be happy that they are making sure that my sales go through and aren't cancelled.

And it is too bad that you feel that Z does not care.  They are busy keeping the platform up and running, making sure sales happen, and that 900+ thousand designers can still design new products.  Not to mention the thousands of sales that are probably occurring everyday right now.  A last viewed stat probably is not at the top of their list of things to take care of right now...  I can deal with it.  After all, we should all be designing for spring and summer and not hoping for last minute Christmas sales...

Although 7 days feels like a lifetime, I can remember when last viewed was three or four days behind, all the time.  Only in the last year or two has it actually been updated daily on a regular basis.  A nice change in my opinion.

Thank you, but no views and no sales for 7 days is not normal and it has never happened to me before. If Zazzle "cared" we wouldn't be measured as stats and put into an Algorithm. You have to be naturally happy pappy designing for children, but as an adult to me this feels like 1984, the movie. Bad is Good.

I'm not sure how to take most of what you wrote... 

but I try and focus on designing what sells... although I really need to jump on invites and stuff like that... I just can't get it right yet.  Hopefully in 2023 I can take that step. 

Sorry you are going though a rough time with sales and hope they return for you.

I count the last view stats not updating as a minor issue. It happens sometimes and it hasn't impacting my sales before, so I'm not expecting it to now. Sales are coming in and my payment is pending for this month, so the issue isn't with the money side.

Ok, I researched and talked to some friends who know the community better, who have been eyeing this thread silently. One did tell me a Diamond Pro has said in the forum they have been affected. So I rescind my earlier statement that only Bronze and under have been pushed to the back of those 900,000 Creators. In past forums, a commenter's Badge was displayed which was handy in weighing their posts. Now we don't know- it would be nice to know, for the benefit of the paranoid in situations like these, that favoritism, even if it is "good business" is not the result of being excluded during the most demanding sales days because they just don't have the server space. So I'm out of this forum now- I did want to report my outside findings and admit I may be remiss. This is too much stress for me to discuss. I'll just watch Britbox until things are working again.

Hi I am equally impacted by this, normally have lots of views and some sales each day, now showing no views in last 7 days and no sale not sure why this is happening.

Same here. No views in 7 days, and no sales in 4 days. bad timing unless this is just a visual tech bug not affecting real traffic. This past week would normally be my busiest of the year.

PS: One reason for not posting is in my case that I stopped frequenting this forum when the layout changed a year ago. I'm just not a fan of the huuuuge and spacious designs that has become the norm over the past decade. I realize it might work better on cell phone, but on my computer it's much harder to navigate as I see max 2 posts at the time... This is not a complaint, just trying to explain that lack of input on the subject might also be caused by lack of using the forum...

Interesting fact... when one looks at your profile, in the url, you can see that you have an id and that you are #2669.  That is how many people have joined this new forum in the last year.  Assuming you joined today to post.  So this community is not that large ...yet...

Engineering is aware that the Last Viewed Date is not updating. I know this because I work in Engineering. We do hope to have this fixed soon.

This issue would impact all users.

The reason why there aren't that many users "freaking out" about this issue is because they probably noticed that the bug was reported, and they probably saw that several moderators posted in the discussion already. From here the best thing to do is to wait for the fix. Continuing to post off-topic content in bug reports only makes it more difficult to find relevant information. This is why I'm requesting that off-topic conversation stop.
