Payment cancelled again for no reason

SBS

My payments keep getting cancelled without any reason. I asked Customer service previously what should I fix, and they told me Everything is OK, I will get paid next month. Well... Not. This is getting ridiculous.
And even if they tell me they solved the problem, I have to wait till the next 15th to realize that my payment is cancelled again.
This year I only got paid twice instead of 6 times. I'm about to lose my housing, and my money just sits in my account.

I have the same situation here. I'm very disappointed because I'm a single mother without any other income right now. I wrote to Zazzle about my situation. I can't wait one more month again...

Hi Kata! By any chance, are you from Hungary?

Yes, I am.

Interesting... me too.
Started with the W8 mess. Wondering if anybody from our wonderful little paradise could have this sorted out.
Maybe Z has no idea what they should do with the new regulations, while all they have to do is to handle us as any other countries (I guess most of Africa, some Asia, definitely North Korea) with no treaty.

I think the same, but even if we know the reasons, our money is still there.  I don't know what should we do.

I'm seriously considering reporting it to some authority, but it would take a lot of googling. And honestly I did trust Zazzle to finally pay us out, they're just playing for time. Unfortunately bills pile up and I can't afford living on loans just because keeping our money is comfortable for them. Something has to happen ASAP.

I completely agree with you.

That would be great to chat privately but I can't log in to the Z chat because my phone is broken. You can find me on FB by my name: Juczi Kata.

Thanks! I don't really know how to FB, but just sent you something.

Hello, I am in the same situation.

I am also from Hungary. That's very strange.

This year, I received 2 payments and 4 monthly payments were canceled.
They say I should wait for the next payment because it takes them time to solve the issue, but then the next payment gets canceled just the same.

Mine looks like:
January: 100% payout (W8 sent on 10th)
February: cancelled
March: cancelled
April: 70% payout (withholding as expected)
May: cancelled (Customer service wrote: Our payment team has advised that the cancelled payment was due to the W8 Ben change on the 29/03. Any payment setting changes take 30 calendar days to clear before payments can be issued. It should all be resolved in the June payment cycle.)
June: cancelled

This is very frustrating... I don't know what should we do.

Mine is here:

January: 70% payout
February: cancelled  (W8 sent in february)
March: cancelled
April: 70% payout
May: cancelled
Customer service wrote: „…payment was canceled because in our system it updates your payment settings, there can be 1-2 days delay with your new form being registered in our systems which is why you received payment in April but it was canceled in May. You can expect payment during the next payment cycle in June.”
June: cancelled

Essentially, the same thing happened to me as it did to you.
Perhaps we should start a new conversation here about "Hungarian designers' payments being canceled month after month."
We need help, can anyone help us in merit?

Sorry, I double checked my January, and I must have mixed it up with something else. Zazzle did deduct the 30% withholding in January too.

Okay, I get it.

Sending love to all Hungarian colleagues. I am wondering if this is to do with PayPal.
(assuming you get paid through PayPal, well, IF you would be paid).
Is there a boycott going against Hungary?

I'm getting paid from all the other places through PayPal, no issues. They didn't even need a new W8, just automatically withhold the 30%.
PayPal is not perfect, but far more transparent than Zazzle. If they would be the problem, I'd probably know the reason and would have solved it by now. (It's already half a year.)
I don't understand why any company would boycott designers working from Hungary to feed their families. All paperwork sent to all sites that required them. I didn't change anything, just keep uploading designs, mockups, optimizing tags, etc. just like I did 31st Dec, 1st Jan, and 17th Jun.

The problem is here, not with our PayPal accounts.
Payments are canceled without telling us a word. No communication, not even a "Sorry guys, we are on it to solve the problem". Nothing. We have life costs, families, kids. We are working hard to earn money here. They received the income using our designs months ago, we need a 10% royalty on it.

I don't think it's a boycott. It is just a technical issue (I hope so) but we should be informed better and paid.

Hello @SBS

May I suggest that you join the International Zazzlers United Facebook group.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/456252351220004/

They may be able to provide you with the answers you seek with regard to your payment delays.

Best,

Thank you for the suggestion, I'll try that.
However, I think that the thing we really need is an official answer from Zazzle. It's kind of a joke that we, as designers have to search in forums and FB groups to find fellow designers who may have a little bit more information than we do.
They just can't use our designs then not pay us the royalties, while all the paperwork is fine. That is theft. I keep having significant extra costs, just because they don't pay the amount I worked for. Will they compensate me? No way. It would be the minimum to regularly update us about what we can expect.
Been here for too long to think they will never pay us out, but so many things changed here recently, trust is fragile.

Still no communication from Zazzle, but I just noticed that my previous cancelled amount (well, $5 less, but very close) was put back to pending. It has an extra note: "Payment will be issued by the 15th".
If it really goes through next month, I hope it won't be just a one time payout, and we will continue to receive our monthly payments as usual.

My payment is in the "pending debit" row too, but I don't see any additional comment.

The problem is that we see our money in this row every month and later it's canceled. What is the guarantee that now it will be paid? And when will it be paid?

Just got paid. Thank you, Zazzle!
Hopefully there will be no issues with the monthly payouts in the future.

Hello,
I am in a same situation, my payments keep getting cancelled.

My payment history:
February: CANCELED
March: CANCELED
April: CANCELED
May: CANCELED
June: CANCELED

Zazzle Support's responses to my requests are about: "Your Payment Settings Have Been Updated! .... around the 15th of each month.”, „ 30-day cycles, etc. …”.
Zazzle Support's say they fixed the problem, than I have to wait until the 15th of the next month to find out my payment has been canceled again.

5 MONTH CANCELED PAYMENTS. We have families, children, living expenses.
How do we solve this? Zazzle received the income using our designs months ago.

Need help from Zazzle team!
Please solve it ASAP.

Please, could any moderator help?

I wrote here a week ago. No answer. The payment problem is still not solved. 5 months canceled paymnets (Febr., March, April, May, June).

In this forum group, on June 17th, designers reported 'canceled payments for months'.

One day later, their payment was in the 'pending debit' row. They received their payments by the 22nd.

The Z team resolved their payment issue within 5 days.

I wrote a week ago and still no answer.

If they resolved the payment issue for them within a few days, they should resolve it for me too!

Zazzle received the income using our designs months ago. Despite this I didn't receive the December earnings either, which should have been paid in February.  All paperwork is fine, W8, etc. I didn't change anything in my account, just created new designs.

Zazzle support has not helped for months (several emails) and I am forced to write here on the Zazzle forum.

I have families, I can't afford to live on loans, because Z just keeping my money on my Zazzle account and do not paid.

Have you made any changes to the payment page? Even clicking "save" without altering any information can prompt the system to cancel your payment. I believe it's done this way to helps us detect if someone has hacked into our account and altered the payment details to divert the money elsewhere.

@Echo
Thank you for your suggestion. The problem is not there because I didn't change anything my payment settings.

I sent new W8 in Febr. All paperwork W8 was fine for April. Even though these things are okay, since then all payments have been canceled (5 months).
Since February at the begining of each month my payment was green, 'pending debit' row, note "Payment will be issued by the 15th"., then on 15th go red and cancelled.

Zazzle Support's were absolutely no help in finding out why this is happening and ensring it doesn't happen again next month.

Instead of searching for info and writing posts in the Zazzle forums, I should rather ask some authorities what I can do if they haven't paid in 5 months.

Interestingly, the designers here (above) wrote enough posts (about 20) that they were paid within 5 days.
How many posts do I need to write to receive my payment?

I didn't receive the Christmas earnings either.
It's kind of a joke, that now end of June, should I post several times on the Zazzle forums, ask for moderators, so that I can finally receive my Christmas earnings? (A total of 5 months of payment cancelled.)
