Problem seeing finished product in shop…

Hi All,

Been creating products that are not showing up as having been done. For example, set up a “Ceramic Ornament” and it is not showing-up except in my general products section—as if it was not completed—but I have set it up over and over again. Have done this on several various items today and they are not displaying. 

No hint of errors or of products having been discontinued. They are not even showing in my “Products” list for any of my shops. Troubleshooting ideas invited.

@Southwind when you say you have 'set it up' have you posted it for sale and if so can you share a link to it?

Sure, thx Sara…I could only get to the link via my general “Products” page…the one where you continue working on them, but this one I had posted for sale so am clueless now as to how to actually see it in my shop…won’t show up in the designated collection nor on the actual “Products” page where it should display to be able to edit/delete, etc.

this is what happens to me when I click your link to the product

it looks like it hasn't moved out of your saved designs (which is a different area than your store back end - it's for WIPs etc)

I would try posting it for sale again (change form factor from round ceramic ornament to one of the others - round glass perhaps?)

and make sure in the post for sale options that it's visible and not hidden (down at the bottom of the posting for sale page) 

Like @DancingPelican says - it can take a couple of days to get to your store front but they should still be viewable in the back end of your store (and out of your saved design area) and viewable with a link if all goes to plan and they were posted for sale correctly

Thanks so very much Sara!! It IS really strange. Like I mentioned, this has happened to several products and I can’t edit anything related to the items. I will do as you suggested, and really watch those settings more closely as-I-go. 

Will keep this thread open till I see how it goes. Appreciate it!

I looked at your Christmas store and see the latest products are from yesterday, 4/17. Products created today have not yet indexed, so they would not appear yet.

DancingPelican…ahhh, makes sense. How did you view “…# of products not yet indexed?” I haven’t been doing this shopkeeping aspect for very long and products have shown up in my listings immediately till the last couple of days. Perhaps it is taking longer due to volume Zazzle is experiencing right now?

I could not view any products that have not yet indexed. I went to your store and viewed products sorted by newest products first. I saw products created on 4/17 but nothing from 4/18 yet.

Thanks again for your help with this issue today!!

It’s still puzzling to me what has happened. I reposted one product as you suggested Sara (e.g., using a different shape as a trial). It worked, so I re-mfgd each product I was having issues with, and all went through just fine; and are visible as they should be everywhere; removed all the problematic pieces. I think it just may have been a fluke or bad timing when I originally posted — an anomaly of sorts — but I’ve learned so much as a result.
