Site is SERIOUSLY lagging!

Has anyone else been having problems today with Zazzle? All day the whole site has been seriously lagging- even the forums! I tried clearing cookies, and that didn't do anything except make extra work for me. When trying to design products, I keep getting that popup that says to "Reload or Try again" and anything I do has a lag time, even nudging a small bit of text.

And also, when running searches of my products in the backend, I get phantom duplicates- I accidentally deleted one duplicated product thinking I had made a mistake and posted it twice, and it ended up deleting both copies.

Hi Connie, 

Thanks for reaching out. Regarding site lagging issues, I'm not seeing this on my end, all appears to be working as normal. Are you still experiencing lagging through all aspects of the site, inclusive of the forums? With the pop-up error messages you are getting, might you have a screenshot of these available by any chance? 

Regarding the duplicates, could you pass along an example product link and/or screenshot of a duplicate you are seeing in the backend? We'll be more than happy to look into this, and I hope this isn't ongoing for you.

👍🏼 Thanks for mentioning this. I had the same problem throughout the day yesterday. Very frustrating. I never comment about this type issue because our rural internet is so slow I assume the internet connection is the problem.

Can you go to fast.com and run a speed test and let us know what the results are?

Mine might not be the best since I have crummy service but today I'm getting...

590kbps Unloaded         54ms Loaded        69ms Uploaded     Upload Speed 36 mbps

I just tested it again and Upload Speed is now 6.1 mbps...shrug

upload 30+ mbps, download 50+ mbps, Ping 8-11 ms..on several tests

weird thing is ..when i click on the edit button my cursor becomes a cross and it gets stuck...

if i ever get past that stage, i get to add an image (sometimes it turns all black) and i get the cross cursor again or just gets stuck and I have to close my browser 😞

and zazzle is the only website where i have problems

Internet Speed: 440 mpbs
Upload Speed: 24 mpbs

My issue s when I use "Edit Details" - the edits are not immediate.

If you're experiencing slowness the first course of action would be to run a speed test and reply back with your results. if you've already posted in this discussion you can just reply back to your own post with the result.

It seems to be working OK today, but if it happens again, I'll run a speed test. Everything else was working fine except Zazzle, so I didn't think of doing a speed test.

Was noticing this too, and now products aren't posting to the store or MP for 2-3 days now

It's starting again today.

My speed test today shows:

220 Mbps      Uploaded is 41ms       Loaded is678ms     Upload Speed 39Mbps

I'm having problems again- so far, it seems to be just the design tool that is lagging, and changes are NOT updating (e.g. I copied a background from the front to the back of the card, and so far after approx. 1 minute, is still isn't showing.) A simple nudge of an element or text is taking about 5- 10 seconds to move.

Here's my speedtest results: Ping: 22, Download: 118.42, Upload: 11.76.

It's even worse today! Maybe the question should be- is anyone NOT having an issue? It takes so long for one little change to update, then when I move something else, the first element jumps back t where it was before! Speedtest is about the same as yesterday: Ping: 17, Download: 119, Upload: 11.77.

I came here to see if anyone else is having issues..  OMG  this is SO slow.. the latency issues are seriously slow.. takes forever  to change anything around in a design let alone to try and add any thing.. - making it very difficult to work - it's been bad for weeks but today is horrible.

Today is October 5th, 2024 and today I have been barely able to use Zazzle, it is so slow and is quite frustrating.

Glad it isn't just me. I cannot get ANYTHING done on the site today. I am trying to upload mockup images and nothing will upload even small files! Errors galore when trying to get these mockups done. I kept thinking it was a computer issue on my end and have wanted to pull my hair out all day. Apparently it isn't my issue. Please someone fix it so I can get back to work lol 

Oh yes, Zazzle is being very slow in recent days, and I was thinking it's  only me and blaming the internet

This thread is very old. You need to read the entire thread and decide if it's the speed that is the issue. Run a speed test as Scott mentions above and do as he suggests.

Yes it is old but there is a recent complaint, it started being slow for me on the 5th and continued through yesterday until shortly after I posted and it seemed to resolve... for now. My speed is fine 1000mbs, it isn't me. Had no issues anywhere else on the web just here.  

they have to point the figure at you they never say darn our update messed up again don't let it get to you always the 4q is when they do lots of messing around to improve the site ,,,
