Toggle off country under store name!

Please Zazzle team, provide a blank spot to choose from in countries under your store name!

Most of my costumers are from US and I live in Switzerland, people are confused and are afraid their products are coming late, because they think they ship from Switzerland.

I prefer to keep it blank, could you provide a blank option, please!

best,

Caroline

Just below where you select a country, you can click the box that says "Display on profile". Click that box to deselect it. I just tested it and it works.  Screen Shot 2022-05-01 at 2.39.40 PM.png

I have the UNITED STATES selected on my profile form, but it does not show on my Profile Header for public viewing.

I checked someone who lives in SPAIN and his country does not show to Public view.

I don't see why Switzerland shows on your Public Profile.

I just checked my profile again. The "Display on profile" box is checked.

United States, does NOT show on any of my public pages ???

So Checked box will NOT show country and unchecked box will show it?

If your country is United States then it won't be listed on the page. Only international countries will be listed. This is because the majority of our users are located in the United States.

Scott, If I don't want to show my Country, because most of my clients are from US and mentioning Switzerland is turning off clients. Shall I toggle US on? Because I don't have a blank option or a toggle off option.

Go to your PROFILE page settings and not your store settings and you should see the Display On Profile message at the bottom. It doesn't appear in the store settings.

My Display On Profile is checked in my profile settings and United States shows on all my stores.

Scott noted below that if your country is United States it won't be listed since the majority of users are located in the US. Not sure why mine shows. SHRUG

Is there a way to toggle my country off, Scott?

I don't see this option. I'll see if it can be added in the future.

It looks like most of this conversation was about showing the Country on the profile page, as opposed to the store page.

Hi Scott, I have the problem on both pages, I would like to toggle it off on both pages. It’s just the country where I live, it’s not my nationality, I am Dutch. So it doesn’t make sense to have this country so prominent on my profile page. And it confuses our clients, which are mostly US based. Best Regards, Caroline

Hi Scott, I was wondering if there is already a way to toggle of  the country on profile AND store page?

Best, Caroline

I would love to see a solution to this as well. I am in Australia and have customers asking me if products are shipping from Australia. There is no option to remove it from my stores. I don't have it ticked in my profile settings which is ok but in the store settings the only option is to choose a country.

To be honest, I don't know if I took mine completely off a long time ago or not, and hit submit and it took it that way. But it's been that way for a long time, and that's the way I have mine.  It "could" be a work around, idk?  That's also if it's different from country to country.  Y'all can try it, I guess.
