Toggle off country under store name!

Hi,

I have to start this topic again, because it's still not solved.

I am not able to toggle my country off in my store and my profile. It bothers me the most in my store, because it's confusing for many people. And it causes me less sale, because people from US think that the products are shipping from Switzerland. I changed it now to US, but I prefer not mention it at all.

I hope for a solution soon!

I've had this happen too, with urgent messages from customers not realizing I'm in Canada and thinking it's shipping from here.

It would be great to see this resolved. I am from Australia and have the same problem. I had to change it to the US too. I had no country selected there for years and everything was fine until I stupidly thought it would be nice to let customers know where I was from. After the shipping questions started I tried to remove the country but it won't let me so I had to choose the US to stop the messages.

Thanks a lot Roberta, I hope for a solution. I am Dutch, only I am living in Switzerland, it’s strange to have that country visible on my page and store page. It’s only from interest for the tax, but it has nothing to do with my nationality. I prefer not mentioning it at all, as it is confusing for my US customers as well! 

Hi Roberta, I start to get issues again with people stressing out that my products get shipped from Switzerland to US. People are getting scared it will be not arriving in time before Christmas.
