Unable to view the messages

Hello! Recently I got a private message which I am pretty sure was a scam, so I responded with a generic answer, but that person wrote back. I got a notification on my e mail but I am not able to acces the new messages. It shows ,,new messages,, in red but when I click it, it doesn't show more. I tried to access it on my phone, tablet, PC but with no luck. I have an impression that the whole thing is affecting my account because since then my sales went down. Anyway, any idea how can I solve it? Thank you!

Zazzle is taking steps to identify and delete spam from our inboxes before we even need to deal with it. They delete it, but the automated notifications still get sent. 
This is not likely to be having any affect on your account.. I’ve not seen anything that I don’t think was actually spam be removed.

"If the message is determined to be Spam we'll remove it from your chat listing.
I agree that it may be slightly confusing, but this is how the system works currently. In the future we hope to have things be a bit more seamless so that no notification is received at all."
