Uploaded cover photos not showing in collections! Please Help!

I started this topic many times, I am investing time and money in all these new cover photos and they are not showing in my new collections. It's so frustrating! I already add the products through the product overview page, instead of the product page itself. Some they keep and some not, it's very random! I hope to find a solution!

Yes, it can take some time for things to be properly indexed. Apologies about the delay here, but moving forward let's give it a day or two, then if things are not working properly please share the link to the collection.

Also, we are working on improving the indexing times. It's possible that part of our work caused the image to appear/disappear/reappear again. We should be done soon.

@CarolineBM I've found at the moment the cover photos you upload to the collection media centre for the whole collection will only all appear in the collection's if it's set at a cross sell type (birthday/baby shower/ holiday/ event occasion) - eg gift/similar/different doesn't appear to be switched on yet so to speak (not sure when they will be)

So depending how you set your collection up - depends on whether they will show

Plus it takes a few days of indexing as we know

If you can link to collections for the Tech Team to investigate - that would help

Sometimes it can take a minute (or a day) for the new cover photos to show up in my collections. Like yesterday I made a bunch, some switched over immediately, but some didn't. Today the ones I made are all changed over and showing correctly. 

Help I wanted to reply on you and by misstake I touched the 'accept solution' button, how do I undo this?

Hi Sara, yes it's a cross sell, I just noticed, that the cover photo's which disappeared again today, were products which I opened the 'edit details' to copy to new products. But that would be strange that it makes the cover photo disappear?

I just think it's taking time for the site to index all the covers

That's the weird thing, but they are not showing in the public store front, neither the back end!

@CarolineBM depending when you edited them - it can take 72 hours for them to fully index - they will appear

They were showing before, but they disappeared today. That's so frustrating!

@CarolineBM It is frustrating but nothing we can do about it - I dare say the site is under a lot of pressure right now.

Thanks so much, I am happy to hear that you're working on improving the indexing times. That would be great! 

I still have collections that the covers were uploaded weeks ago and they are not showing yet.

Having issues with collection 119451444348337402 too, re the updated / selected cover photos not showing. Items in the Enclosure Card section as well as Envelope sections (created back in Dec) are stuck. Would appreciate if someone can have a look. Unrelated to this thread, but still unresolved is:

Items still showing zero in views although they have been viewed (issues since last year Nov)

Discrepencies across view data stats persist (most items since Oct 23), causing items that have been viewed many times never getting a 'Trending now' badge.

There are other glithces experienced the last few days, but will wait on these to resolve by themselves as you acknowledged that work in the background may have caused the system some hiccups.

Hope you can assist.
