is it just me? The past few days the tiling on wrapping paper is being weird. It looks ok in the 'design box', but the preview of the finished paper has overlapped images for half brick and half drop. I'm just using a straight image, no groups or anything fancy. ?

Which wrapping paper are you having trouble with? Is it the roll or the sheets?
If it's the wrapping paper roll - The Design placement (cog - left hand side of the design tool) can be set for Horizontal or Tile (right hand side of the design tool)
If you choose Tile from the cog - it takes you to a square 'design box' to design on. If you then set tiling within that square - it can make the design odd sometimes if your artwork isn't placed correctly or falls out of the Design Box and ends up not really tile-able
Takes a lot of tweaking
(It really helps the tech team if you can link them to the design (which you can do from saved designs - just copy and paste the URL or link to the product if it's already been posted for sale)

Thanks Sarah! I've made a lot of wrapping paper but have never used the design placement cog thing. doh! I just tried that and it fixed it. fyi it was the rolls. Never had an issue before, but first time for everything, and I learned something. Also, I'm aware of needing to fiddle and tweak, and do do a lot of that and have always been able to get it to do what I want (rolls, and differently scaled tiled images on the sheets). This time I was clueless. Thanks again!

You need to set the image size THEN choose the repeat pattern. If you choose the repeat pattern and then enlarge or reduce the image, the pattern doesn't revise naturally. (You would have to undo the pattern by clicking single image, then re-allocate the pattern choice.)

Thanks Nigel. Yes I think I know what you're saying. I usually do it ok, I don't know what was up there for a couple of times. I appreciate everyone's help!

Hello! Thanks to this post I just realized that tile wrapping papers from design tool should be from product layers (design placement) and not from the top menu, if you tile your wrapping paper from the menu options on the top the 5th preview image will look awkward, today a customer return a wrapping paper because this reason, so pay attention to all product preview images!
