Zazzle app not showing "message" notification

Hi Zazzle, just wanted to give you a heads up that the Zazzle App at the moment is not showing we have a message. I rely on my iPhone Zazzle app to notify me of any new message from clients that I need to respond. I noticed that yesterday I didn't received any notifications, not by sound and banner alert, neither was the app showing the typical red dot letting me know I had a message, but when I logged into Zazzle today (Saturday Nov.19) from my computer, I had already three clients waiting for a response! 
Hope this gets fixed very soon, as am sure, many designers just like me, are not all the time on their computers and count on their Zazzle iPhone App to know when there is a client with a message they need to get back to.

Thanks for the updates. I've been working with the team on trying to reproduce messaging and notification issues. We found a few small things that we'll be fixing, but we haven't been able to reproduce the exact thing that you're mentioning above. Happy to hear that uninstalling/reinstalling was helpful for you.

Thanks for your patience with this. We can't replicate the error on our side. Can you confirm for us that your notification permissions and settings are setup correctly on your phone to allow you to receive these notifications?

Hi Pádraig, thank you for looking at this issue. Yes, I can confirm that my notification permissions and settings are set correctly. I can also confirm that until last Friday (Nov. 18) I used to receive "Message" notifications with both banner alerts and with the red dot on the app telling me the amount of messages that were waiting for my answer...also, it's still not fixed, as today Tuesday (Nov.22) I had a message on Zazzle waiting for me this morning, and the app did not displayed any notification at all.                                                                                                                        Thanks in advance for the assistance!

Hi Pádraig, as an update, the Zazzle App seems to have a new problem. It's showing that I have 4 notifications, with the red dot on the app and number four, but did not "notify" me of the client message I had waiting for me. Also these new four notifications, which are referring to Zazzle discounts and offers, not messages: 1) "Your Fave Movie Gear, 2)Best deals of the day, 3) Refer and earn $25 off and 4) Exclusive 25% off --keep staying with the red dot and number four time and time again,  even after I already saw these notifications several times and even if I clean my iPhone history,  it keeps showing the red dot with number four, and it doesn't go away!

Engineering is aware of the persistent notification. We hope to have this fixed soon.

Thank you Scott, ...what about not receiving notifications from clients messages? I just got another message from a client an hour and a half ago and the app did not give me any notification at all.

Is this happening while the app is open, or while it's closed? Are you staying logged into the app, or are you logging out at any point?

Hi Scott, I"m always logged into the app. I Just shut down my phone to reset it. When I turned it back on and opened the Zazzle app,  for a fraction of a moment it displayed four red stripes, each one with a text  message inside saying something like "There is a problem with...." , sorry it was so quick and then they disappeared that I had no time to read the whole thing, after that the app looked as usual.
At least the dot (on Iphone main page) with the four notifications from Zazzle's orders is not there anymore, although once I get into the app, the notifications still have the red dot with number four even as I have already seen these notifications countless times. ... I'll let you know when I get a new client message if it notifies me... let's hope shutting down my phone did the trick.

Hi Scott,  I decided to delete Zazzle's app from my Iphone and then reinstall it. After that, I'm happy to report that when I received a message I did get a banner notification as well as the typical red dot with a number one on my iphone main page...Hurray!!!  although, once I opened the app, on the menu section, the "messages" tab did not display any dot with the number one, but no biggie, at least this time I was able to know with the help of the banner notification and the red dot on the Zazzle app, that there was a message waiting for me 🙂

Thank you so much Scott and all the technical team for all the hard work, I really appreciate it. It was hard enough for me to explain what was happening so I can only imagine how hard it must be to reproduce a particular scenario! I'm glad that by uninstalling and reinstalling the app I was able to get message notifications again, so I'll be marking this post as solved 🙂
Like I said, even as now inside the app it did not show I had a message on the menu-message tab, it did send me a banner notification and a red dot on the app showing I had a message, which is enough for me to be alerted of a message and need to answer back 🙂
