Customer Asking for Clear Mailing Label...

... do we have them?  I swear I thought I saw them here a while ago as a new product, but I can't find them anywhere.

Does anyone know if Zazzle has the clear mailing labels? I hat to tell the customer no if we actually do have them.

There is a Glossy Transparent option available (at an upcharge) for Contour kiss-cut vinyl stickers; the stickers can be designed to include up to 30 individual stickers per sheet and are popular for when individually addressing envelopes to send to guests.

The problem we have is that the customer wants totally clear labels so that the envelope shows through. Not sure if that makes sense. Here is what the customer wants: https://www.zazzle.com/save_the_date_wedding_return_address_labels-106701260701171075

... based on your idea, they can order the clear labels they want from Staples and then add these peel-off stickers either on front with the return address, or in a larger size for back-of-envelope closure seals. That see4med to be the best I could come up with to get close to what they want. But I wouldn't have come up with this without your help!

Thanks Teri, your Save the Date Wedding Peel-off Stickers look fabulous! They look to be so versatile in how they can be used by a bride and groom.

In case it is of use to anyone reading the thread, there is some particularly useful information on a link from a Zazzle product page, regarding the Zazzle Contour kiss-cut vinyl stickers, elaborating on the differences between the media options (Matte White vs Glossy Transparent):

“Choosing the Right Base

White Vinyl: Matte

Stickers are printed on a white base layer, allowing the design to pop. Matte finish.

Clear Vinyl: Glossy

No white ink is printed. Any white used in the design will come across as transparent, allowing the background color to show through. Glossy finish.”

Thank you so much, SR!  I was going crazy looking for this. This should work for what the customer wants. 

One more quick question ... I'm assuming there is a way for me to set it up so the customer doesn't have to cut each label individually, but if I'm wrong on that, what do you recommend?  Thanks again for your help and prompt reply!

Thanks, I am happy to be of help. On a sheet, I set up each individual sticker using the “square” element in the Design tool and I use it to create a white rectangle (white border, white fill) for each individual sticker. I make each individual sticker on a white block so that each individual sticker is treated as a unit; the design area will show a yellow perimeter line for each individual sticker to indicate the outer edge of each sticker i.e where the cut will be (each individual sticker kiss-cut). (If I am putting eighteen stickers on the sheet then I will add eighteen white blocks, arranged on a transparent background in the Design tool). It can take a bit of time to update in the Design tool. Each white block should effectively turn transparent on the physical product if the “Glossy Transparent” option is chosen.

I made a guide file template that you can download as a flattened .png or .psd file and there's a live product demo for it.
It's for (28) 1.5" x 2.75" custom cut contour stickers on one 14" x 14" sheet. I don't know what size labels your customer wants but you can always adopt the idea to make a template for whatever size you need.

Hi Col!  Been a long time since I bounced around and saw a familiar face and name here on the forum. Everything is so different from the old days!  Anyway, thanks so much for your reply and detailed and helpful suggestion. The tricky part on this was that the customer didn't want any color at all behind the text. Hopefully the wedding couple image as a peel-off sticker will work for them.
