Foreign language in Notifications

There's no harm in this, of course, but my newest notification is telling me that someone liked one of my products, but it was in what I think was Chinese. The only English part was the liked-your-product part. Has anyone else seen this sort of thing?

Indeed, in Spanish, Japanese, German and I think Dutch...

How do you tell the difference between Japanese and Chinese?

Given that Japanese characters are based on Chinese, I've no idea how to tell the difference. I looked it up and it seems that, over time, Japan has altered a number of the characters. It would probably take Westerners a great deal of study to be able to spot which is which.

I got Portuguese recently- it took me a while to figure out what it was. Once you know the country, it's easy to use Google translate (or Bing, which is what I use) to figure out what they're asking, and send them an answer.
