This was the message I received from a customer, Has anyone encountered this? How did you handle it?

"Hello, I am very satisfied with your business cards. Can you send me a pdf of the image corresponding to my business card please? Kind regards"

Any input is greatly appreciated, Thank you

@Amanda3117 I would politely decline. If you sent the pdf artwork - they would no longer purchase the business cards directly from you and have them printed direct with another supplier cutting you out of any royalties

Or say you can but ask for a fee to be fully paid before you send it to them.

Nothing is for free but the choice is ultimately yours

Thank you so much. would you possibly offer a digital product maybe on a card for personal use? Im not sure if that would help them or it wouldn't work

@Amanda3117 that's up to you and whether you want to lose out on sales of your business cards. Once they have the artwork - they won't return

Refer them to Zazzle. Zazzle gives you the option to do this. That way you avoid any awkwardness.

I do get messages like this sometimes.  I just politely explain to them that at this moment Zazzle does not currently offer an instant download option for business cards.  They usually ask about me just sending them the design outside of Zazzle to which I reply that I only sell my design on this platform due to legitimacy and trustworthiness of my brand (or something along those lines).  Some customers will continue to purchase and be repeat customers.  Others may make a one time purchase.  I have asked in the Ideas and Suggestions board that Zazzle please make an instant download option for business cards, but that was a while ago and I have heard crickets on that.
