Selling Clipart or PDF Images

Spoiler
I've always noticed while searching my products, in the designer view, that "images" is listed as one of the departments. Is it possible to just sell images as clipart on Zazzle? If so, where do I learn about how this is done? Screen Shot 2022-08-14 at 4.18.36 PM.png

I think that category is part of the secondary content program, but honestly, I'm not entirely sure. I posted a handful of clipart-type images, but they're listed under Elements > Illustrations. They're only available for use through the Create tool.

There used to be a link to a page where you could apply to be part of the secondary content program, but I can no longer find it. Not sure what that means, seems like the program is on the back burner.

Images aren't quite a "department," but are, instead, a link to our images that we've uploaded. No one else can access our images. Regardless, Zazzle doesn't have a setup for us to sell our digital art. If you'd like to do this, you'd have to hook up with one of the many sites that do this kind of thing.

She's talking about these three categories, each of which opens a menu of sub-categories.

As I recall, these cats where added after the Create tool and Secondary Content debuted but only a select group of designers was offered the option to create content for those things and though it's been at least a year or two, I haven't heard anything else about it.
I know there's one designer here regularly on the forums who has Secondary Content backgrounds; maybe she'll she this and let us know if these cats are where it's organized for her.

That sounds about right haha, I do remember very, very, briefly that Zazzle was doing something like this where it appeared you could sell clipart, but it seemed to never really develop into anything official, so I was wondering if I was mistaken. Maybe I could create images that are clip art style (without backgrounds) and have them available for migration. I never have designs available for migrating to other products because I design for each product specifically to the size and fit. Thanks for the info!

Your backgrounds are always at the top of the list in the Design Tool. Do they show up for you under Elements --> Backgrounds & Patterns?

I think "Templates" could clearly only be for templates designed and accepted for use in the Create tool. "Images" and "Elements" could go either way, for Create and/or Secondary Content.

When this all originally rolled out, Zazzle was going to have more than just backgrounds (which they categorize as an Element)  available as Secondary Content in the Design Tool. But yeah they've obviously put that project on the back burner, maybe because of the huge outcry it caused, so for most of us, those three cats at the bottom of the list have no purpose.

The exception would be Images, which at least when I click on it, provides a direct line to my own albums. I never knew this until today.

I sell my clipart at Creative Fabrica

Thank you, I will check it out. I know that Creative Market is another place where clipart can be sold, but I heard that costumers buy clipart from Creative Market and then discover they cannot create invitations with it on Zazzle. It would be so much easier to be able to directly sell clipart here on Zazzle that can be used on products and get commission if the designer decides to sell the design.
