Hi everyone. I'm reaching out to those with way more experience on Zazzle than me. Try as I might, I can not get my head around Collections!! 🙄 I was hoping that if I explain what I want to achieve, maybe you can point me in the right direction. 😊 Currently, I have designs that I group into different themes - Text only designs which I call Word Art, designs with a 80s/90s retro vibe, spooky designs suitable for Halloween, a designs with animals. So they have a similar theme, but I put them on different products. Should I'm guessing I should use Similar Style/Theme collection type?? Now, I also wanted to have collections with product types, such as t-shirts, buttons (when they finally reappear), stickers, stationery, etc. These will have different design themes, but are single products or a group of related products. I wanted these so I can share the collections on my socials, "Hey, check out our range of tees..." What collection type would be best for these??
Solved! Go to Solution.

So they have a similar theme, but I put them on different products. Should I'm guessing I should use Similar Style/Theme collection type?? Yes, Similar Style/Theme. Choose Halloween for Occasion. But if you have other collections with no obvious choice of holiday or event (like graduation, or business) choose Home and Living.
For these choose Different Styles/Themes; that is best for products that have no common theme but are all the same product or variations of that product like different styles of T shirts.
If you have a a collection where the theme is that they are all meant as gifts for a certain person such as dog lover or lawyer, those go in Gift collection type.
The most specialized is Cross Sell. That's for when your products match and they're meant to be bought together, such as a bunch of matching stuff for a birthday party or graduation party. These often have required products such as invitations to the party.

Thank you. Just when I think I have my head around it, I suddenly panic and think, "OMG, I've got this all wrong!" It takes a decent amount of time to set them up and I want to make sure they have the best chance of being seen in the market place. I do like Zazzle, but it's not straight forward sometimes. 😕
