I used to sell a lot of pillows, but in 2025 my pillow sales dropped sharply. That shift made me stop and ask: what are POD customers really looking for now? After digging into trends, I discovered a sweet spot matching pillows with throw blankets. Instead of presenting a pillow as a standalone product, show it as part of a lifestyle set. Customers respond when they can see both the feature (the design) and the benefit (comfort and warmth) together. Here’s how to make it work: Create a collection that pairs each pillow with its matching blanket. Use lifestyle mockups that show the set in context, not just a flat product image. Stage the scene: place the pillow and blanket on a sofa in a cozy living room. Even better, imagine a cold day outside, with a child leaning against the pillow while wrapped in the fleece blanket. That visual creates a need and makes the set irresistible. By merchandising pillows with blankets, you’re not just selling décor you’re selling comfort, warmth, and a complete experience. That’s what POD customers connect with now, and it’s how you can turn declining pillow sales into a new opportunity. Have your pillow sales slowed down? What strategies are you using to make home décor products stand out? Have you tried pairing pillows with blankets or other lifestyle sets? Cozy Christmas Tartan in Red and Green by Susang6

My issue: While I was editing a Pinterest pin, I noticed "https:go.skimresources.com" in front of my copied and pasted link from Zazzle. This appeared in every manual pin on the top 4-5 rows. They were pinned in the last week or so. I initially thought someone was hijacking my link. I've tried contacting Zazzle and Pinterest on this but got a standard reply to clear my cache. lol According to Google, that is what is happening. Pinterest would be getting my extra commission if I made a sale. Has anyone run into this? This is my first post to community so if I've done something incorrectly, don't be too harsh.

Did people see a Black Friday week bounce on Zazzle? I saw increased sales on Amazon Merch, TeePublic and Redbubble. I didn't see it on Zazzle. In fact compared to last year, I did 60% less in sales revenue this November on Zazzle. Zazzle used to be my best earner, and I understand the economy is bad, but Zazzle appear to have...how can I put it? Soiled the bed.

Hello, everyone! Just like everyone else, I received no response from Zazzle regarding my W8-BEN submission. I have sent three emails containing the form to zazzle-w8@zazzle.com. My first submission was on August 8, 2025 and I have yet to get any response. I've read most of the forums and found out that some of them are not even solved and I was wondering if anyone actually got it sorted out. I'm starting to question the legitimacy of the site :,( 1. Any advice from the staff? Who can solve my problem of personally contact? 2. Has anyone (non-US) actually got their W8-BEN sorted out? In 2025??

A customer asked me today if I can please make an image downloadable because they'd like to order it from Kinkos. I'm at a loss for words. All the words that come to mind are definitely not polite.

I was scrolling through leggings at marketplace today and discovered that there is a blind spot in the mockup designs and that blind spot is probably costing creators sales. When leggings are shown styled as activewear / fitness the customers may scroll past thinking “I have enough workout gear” I am not sure why creators don’t show the legging or tank top in different mockups such as a casual shopping at the mall or work at the office look. In my opinion I think showing the mockups styled with different fashion looks would help sell the top or legging. (Attract another customer) not just activewear. Isn’t it better to sell a possibility, with your mockup by showing them “this legging isn’t just activewear” In my opinion I think you might sell more leggings and tank tops if you showed the customer how to put together the casual, business, or date night look. ( I am adding 3 fashion look mockups to products to show customer how to create a unique style) I want to create a need for a product, I want to sell style, plus active or jean looks. I am SO SO FRUSTRATED right now! Don’t bother working 7 days a week promoting your designs on your blog or social media, or wasting time creating polished mock-up images. Don’t even bother putting in the extra effort customizing for clients and then sending them direct links with your own Ambassador ID. No matter what you do, you’ll still see unexplained third-party sales — even when the product is private and shared only through your link. And now, with royalties capped at just 10%, it’s hardly worth the effort. Try asking why your expected referrals don’t appear in your earnings, and the answer will always be the same: Zazzle claims it’s “beyond their control” how customers navigate and interact with the site. So why even create an Ambassador Program to boost earnings if creators aren’t protected in the slightest?

I custom edited a card for a customer and they approved it. It's been 2 weeks since and they haven't purchased them, How do I inquire if they still plan to or have changed their mind, not wanting to pressure them but not wanting to lose a sale either.

When working through several products at the same time, it would be nice if the default number of products shown on a page in the back end would be 204 instead of 24. These back and forth clicks can get a little bit 'annoying' or 'challenging' to put it nicely. If we set a page at 204 products per view, this setting gets lost the very next time we click on a product on that page. P.S. there is no more 'Ideas and suggestions" Board anymore?

Now maybe something like this already exists and I'm unaware since it's been awhile since I've purchased anything on Zazzle, but customers need to be notified during the order as well as after ordering that messaging us designers isn't going to get them the help they need to change an already existing order. They also need some clear instruction on how to use the edit tool, like a pop up that says "click the text box to change the text, select your font style, change the color, or change the size" and have a little pop up for each one. There's too much confusion for buyers all around, I've been getting messages because of it for years. And I notice a lot of users are more elderly and not as familiar with the use of technology. Some kind of message too that tells them to contact the designer regarding a design-specific issue or request. Contact Zazzle with issues regarding existing orders, technical issues, or any confusion on how editing works as it's not a designers job to explain without pay to a customer on how to use Zazzle. I just had a customer this morning ask me to change the text of her already ordered license plate to black. I had to reply with a message explaining I'm just a designer, she has to cancel first since I can't change her order, and reorder after she's changed the text color herself, and walked her through how to do it. Hopefully she'll see it in time to cancel and reorder with the sale going on. I feel like us designers are in a way customer service and we aren't paid anything to do it.

I have many group boards at Pinterest and they are all niche, carefully curated to match the titles and themes. Recently, a few Zazzle designers have been targeting them with unrelated pins, and it has become disruptive. For example, on my Ladies Fashion Bags board they share T‑shirts, on Kitchen and Dining they share T‑shirts, and even on Zazzle Holiday Cards they share T‑shirts. Just today I deleted forty‑two T‑shirts from my pinboards. Perplexed by why anyone would do this, I searched and found that there is a lot of bad information online encouraging people to “spam everything to high‑volume boards” as a way to get traffic. That advice is simply wrong. Pinterest frowns on spam boards, and anything that does not relate to the board’s title is considered spam. When boards are cluttered with irrelevant pins, the algorithm buries those products, engagement drops, and ultimately spammers hurt everyone in the group. I’m just sharing so that you know spamming can cause real problems, and it is not a good way to get sales. People are shopping for what the pinboard title represents. When you spam boards with unrelated products , your pin will hurt the boards visibility (algorithm) and sales for everyone.

I made another few letterpress cards for Christmas last week and they still haven't been approved. I do wonder if they will get reviewed in the next few days tops, as after that it won't probably matter for the appending Christmas Holiday.
