Hello Zazzle, please provide us the default Collection cover options ( Real Views) for baby shower and kids birthday cross sell events , just like you have provided us for Weddings and Christmas holidays ... It would be helpful when redesigning old product designs if we could sort products by the date created. This way designs we are improving or altering in some way would be easy to locate as we work on them. Especially when redoing ones that are in multiple color schemes and on multiple products. Then when done, we could easily sort them and remove the old product if desired. If we choose not to remove them right away, it could help to see which ones are viewed more, the newer or the older. Which would make full use of the new quick stats and view insight options.

Unless I’m overlooking it. I use Zazzle sometimes on my iPad. And I use the iPad screen keyboard. There’s no delete button on the screen keyboard. So when I need to delete a layer I have to “cut” it. It works, but sometimes I’ll have stuff waiting that has been “copied” into memory and when I cut it, it makes the copied thing disappear. There should be a delete button that’s in the same drop down menu as copy and paste. Also, there needs to be a way to select layers on an iPad. I can currently just select one or all. But nothing in between. Can the Zazzle team test this stuff on an iPad? Thanks!

I like that we can select a "Force Customer to Replace" option for visual images, and I understand there are multiple reasons for this. I'm also wondering if a "Force Customer to Edit" option would be good for text, so that they don't inadvertently miss updating a template. There are certain text placeholders, such as names and dates, that we often want to ensure that customers update. I fear that a customer might leave a date as 202X, for example, then have to return or replace a gift. This would especially be a problem for a special ocassion if they don't have time to reorder. Perhaps we already have measures in place to help prevent customers overlooking text templates, but if not, then it would be great to have this option. I'd hate for a Merideth to order a cup that still says Jennifer!

I love the new wording used for 'edit using design tool'. The only problem is that this is still hidden at the bottom of the pop-up window for 'personalize this template'. In many cases, especially for invites, this can be a very long list and thus a customer would have to scroll down this long list of template items before even finding this design area access. From the chat messages I receive, it's obvious that many customers don't even know that the design area exists. Why isn't this made a prominent option on the product page....why hide it in this out-of-the-way location??

@James, Scott—zazzle mod, Zazzle Paper offers gift tags set of 10, 120 lb weight, with hole punched and choice of twine colors, size 2 x 3.5. Altering the size could make them usable as bookmarks. But, since it is a set of 10, the templated text would be the same on all 10. Same for any quote text either by a shop or customer. Changing the size could adapt them into a new product offering.

We can currently rearrange the categories in our store by alphabetising them, or pulling them into a different order on the page. I would also like to be able to pull a category inside another category, so that it becomes a sub-category. From what I can see at the moment, to achieve this we have to create the sub-category from scratch.

In the original forums, there was a thread giving wonderful guidance to newbies. I wish I could remember the name of it, but I'm sure others remember it well. Place a reorder Make it much much much easier to customers to reorder products they've already ordered. I can not tell you just how many customers contact me asking how they can reorder their previous order / products. If I owned this website the VERY VERY first thing a returning customer would see when they log in is: Click Here to place a reorder and / or Click Here to view your previous orders and when they get there make it take as few steps as possible to place that reorder. Do not assume returning customers are simply here to go window shopping, hunting through page after page to see things they might want, what's new, or what you want to promote when they may just want to take care of business and reorder their previous products. I scan the first 3-5 pages of each different arrangement (I am assuming all posts are in each different category). I had one unread response when I went looking today. I scanned al 36 pages of NEW IDEAS and did not locate it. I closed out and saw that I Now had 2 unread. I went back and scanned HOT IDEAS ( I may have reversed the order of the scans). I finally found the 2 responses on Page 25!!! Would it be possible to have a view sorted by LATEST UNREAD RESPONSE? And sort this by ASCENDING/DESCENDING DATE? I fear that many responses will be unread as the pages increase in number.

It would be really cool if we could customize door entry key cards that they use as hotels, business offices, security businesses etc. I know hotels for example use these by the gazillions and customize each one with a code at the time they hand them out to hotel guests. But they could be used for a wider variety of uses like VIP cards for entry to special events, corporate functions, promotional campaigns etc. etc etc.

I haven't searched myself in the marketplace in a long time, but this morning I tried. My store name comes up, but if I search store name + product type or store name + keyword I get zero results. I realize that customers could just go to my store, but I wonder if there is a reason this isn't part of the search function?

Please don't mark already Hidden products as needing Optimization. It is confusing when we sort for all the products needing Optimization, because I have a whole folder of old Hidden products that I've made new version for, or are otherwise keeping just for reference. These are showing up along with the former Public products that are hidden by Zazzle for lack of views, and then I'm not sure whether a product I'm trying to optimize was hidden by me or Zazzle! I end up wasting time working on those products, only to find out that they were Hidden by me anyway!

RE: Replace product feature Recently I noticed a Replace product button to resubmit a product To the Z team: it would be nice if there was some guidance as to how much we can change without rejection? While the product rejection notice I received yesterday had an explanation (and some of it made sense). It will save both the designers and reviewers time if we knew what we generally can or can't do. The reason for my request is I just had a product I resubmitted after making some alterations. I changed the font which was a poor design choice (in my early days of inexperience). The text was also poorly aligned and the layout was chaotic. I though this was a good candidate for replacement. The reviewer though otherwise and for some of the reasons they mentioned, they were right. One reason mentioned: A customer revisiting the product might be disappointed by the drastic changes (their words.... paraphrased 🙂 Thank you in advance for considering some guidance.
