Because many of us do not have all our products at the same royalty rate, could you come up with a solution where we can reduce or increase our royalty rate but a set number, eg, decrease all my different royalty rates by another 5%. So if I have an invitation at 14.9% and a sticker at 30%, the new royalties will be 9.9% for the invitation and 25% for the sticker. Sometimes I have different rates for different designs on the same product type so this will help immensely, particularly during the holidays.

When I enter "paper bowls" as a search term when transferring a design to another product, the database of Zazzle products doesn't return the new 7" paper bowls. Entering "bowl" or "bowls" only shows the chili and soup bowls. Entering "plate" or "plates" is the only way to see the paper bowls, and they're the last of the search results. Thank you!

This is not the highest on my wish list (rulers and color palette top that!) but this time of year I always think about how nice it would be if customers could have options for backers of their holiday cards. It might be a bit of an engineering feat to offer that, but if we could design options for one photo on the back, just text, a collage of photos or a plain backer and the customer could choose, that would be AMAZING instead of having to create new listings for each of those. Could be great for save the dates, birth announcements, grad announcements, etc, too.

I've needed to use this a bit lately as people want to know about shipping for Valentine's Day. I know this seems minor but it reads "contact our customer support." The "our", in my opinion, is misleading. It would be better to leave out the our or say "Zazzle's customer support." I helps clarify that we are not Zazzle employees by showing we are a separate entity. -- I also think it's critical that when someone leaves a message for a designer that they are immediately shown they need to turn on email messaging, or given the option to turn it on right there if it is off.

I think it would be great if we had the option to put a design and text on the inside of coffee mugs. I don't know how difficult that would be for the company that handles the printing of the mugs, and I don't know if there is an interest out there among customers, but I think it would be really nice.

It would be nice if we could add videos to the collections just like you can do with products. At the moment you add up to 10 images but not videos. For example a video showcasing several products in the collection.

I would like to see the automated titles of the wooden gift boxes with tile insets changed to "trinket boxes" or some other appropriate name. They are much too big for a typical "gift box." If I was looking specifically for trinket boxes and jewelry boxes, I would never use the search term "gift box" to look for one. Not sure why this isn’t already being done, but it sure would be useful to know how many products you’re about to delete when multiple products are selected, especially since they’re unrecoverable. I was just about to delete a couple of products and pure dumb luck saved me from inadvertently deleting several more. The warning only says: “Multiple Items Selected — Are you sure you would like to delete these products? This action cannot be undone.” If you choose photos to delete you’re warned how many you’re about to kill. Why not a similar warning for products to save us from ourselves?

Paper sheets are a popular product - used for all sorts of designs that don't lend themselves to existing products. The problem is that some of the paper options are bond-weight (foldable) and one is cardstock (the semi-gloss.) Customers do NOT understand this, and the descriptions don't make it clear, so we really need to be able to control the paper options so card designs can be restricted to semi-gloss, and foldable designs can be restricted to the bond-weight options. At the moment, the only way to control the paper choice is to choose "this size and media only" which restricts the options too much. We need to be able to restrict paper type independent of size, and we also need to be able to exclude one paper type (semi-gloss) for designs that are designed to be folded.

It would be really helpful to many designers, including myself, to add a rule of thirds grid line, perhaps as highlighted color overlay or in bold for many of the flattened products like invitations. Or as many products as possible if it's possible. Thanks for considering. -LauraLee

I thought it might be very useful to have a separate forum category/subject for just the desgin tool in zazzle...it is so ocmplex now and so useful (thank you) but easy to forget the updates and what they do, and harder to find such in search. For example I only just remembered about the mask function today and tried it.That was a surprise! its like the clipping mask in Inkscape. I am sure newbies would love to be able to just look up design tool functions in a spearate heading/category

Whereas the warning signs are great, I would still like to also see a green line back. That way it is easier to see in one view where things actually land on a product, without having to shift everything around and guess what the error location is. Also for products that I did not create before, I find it helpful to see what the bleed is. Thank you 🙂

At the moment I have to use a landscape style air freshener which comes with string, which isn't what they were really meant for. Shops use such signs for "Open" or "Closed"; "Gone for Lunch"; "Back in Ten Minutes" etc. Holiday cottages use them with "Welcome to the Seaside" and similar messages. Homes might use them - "Home Sweet Home" etc.

Can we please either get more colors in the women's basic tee, or another women's tee with a wider selection of colors? The color selection is getting pretty dire in the women's department. There isn't even a pink for vivid print anymore in the women's shirt. Or if even basic tees become unisex (or something like the boy/girl basic tees where they are listed separately but are really just the same shirt using male/female models) so we can get the "men's basic tee" color selection in the women's department. Those do have a pretty nice color selection!

Can we rearrange the sections this way (or something similar), so that collections that are not events or occasions do not get lost in the abyss? Collection Class/Category - Event or Occasion - Business - Schooling - Art - Graphics - Backgrounds or Patterns - Comical - Politics - Other Then under each of these sections, we have the type of collection (cross/sell, similar styles, etc.) Maybe something like this is already in the works, but if not, can we? There doesn’t seem to be a good way to remove a group of products from a collection — sometimes it works if you select “add to a collection” (the one they are currently in) — but then you have to go and check the collection to see if it really happened. More steps then should be required, when the other would be really simple. Thank you. Vivian
