LET THE TEAM KNOW IF YOU ARE FEELING STRESSED. 8 DAYS NO VIEWS, 8 DAYS NO UPDATES, 8 DAYS NO RESPONSE FROM ZAZZLE MANAGEMENT, NOT FROM THE TEAM WHICH SUGGESTS WE READ , REREAD AND GET FRUSTRATED OVER THREADS. NO FEEDBACK FROM FOLKS WHO ARE COMMPASSIONATE TO A WORLD WIDE FIRM THAT CAN'T OPERATE A SYSTEM EITHER, THEY DON'T NEED CHEERLEADERS FOR INEFFECTIVENESS. THIS IS A SIMPLE REQUEST TO HAVE SOME FEEDBACK FROM THE ZAZZLE MANAGEMENT. WE CAN'T GET A HOLD ON WHAT PEOPLE ARE VIEWING, PLUS A LOT OF STOCK IS NOT AVAILABLE....GREAT FOR CHRISTMAS SALES. AFTER 8 DAYS WE ARE REALLY STRESSED. THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS RESPOND ON THE MAIN PAGE, NOT ABOUT NEW PRODUCTS EITHER, THATS ANOTHER ISSUE, WE WANT ANSWERS PLEASE AND THANKS FROM THE THREADS I;VE READ MANY USE THIS AS A SOURCE OF HAPPINESS FOR MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES AND PEOPLE ARE FEELING QUITE STRESSED, FOR THIS REASON ALONE PLEASE LET US KNOW WTH IS GOING ON.

Everyone is overworked and stressed this time of year.
**deep breath**
Whether or not Zazzle is able to respond in the forums they are working in the background. When you have a large website there are many moving pieces. Fix one thing and sometimes something else breaks.
Patience and kindness is necessary, especially this time of year.
Focus on what you can control.

My guess is that they're slammed with Christmas orders and focusing their energies on making sure the site is working for customers - which, IMHO, is WAY more important than making sure that our stats are up to date.

I think making our sales consistent with our track record is way more important than filling all those orders we aren't getting. Many of us who were struggling along just fine have now been wiped out. And we ARE longtime Zazzle customers. I am worthy of being slammed with orders and I get diddly squat now that the system has been tweaked.
Please no marketing or keyword or life coach advice. This is just selfish BS and it makes me cry to look at all the hope and spirit I put into this year. On top of everything else, I have lost faith in the Human Race and would just as soon die.

Wow, you are really out of line. Everyone's sales are down. Europe is at war and inflation is high, plus there are still some supply chain issues. Very few people are "slammed with orders," I certainly am not.
I work on Zazzle daily and have another job. My kids are literally getting nothing for Christmas this year.
Maybe you should take a break if you can't be kind in the forums. People are responding to this thread in an effort to help.

I wrote specifically to tech support using their HELP link last Thursday. I wrote to the former "Tony" in my conversation bubble, who was helpful in the past. It does kill the Joy of the season. We had no warning we might work all summer and be on blackout fall and winter. That is what I mean by faithful. We have put our trust, dreams, labor, and art into Zazzle, believing in all the Special Promotions and New Products and Advertising done for our benefit. True, some artists are very sensitive to rejection and abandonment, and that, more than loss of a few dollars, is very destructive to balance and mental health. We don't want to be looked at as replaceable commodities. We are Creators!

This sort of thing has happened before, actually, it happens every couple of months. Usually, there is a post here and when they are notified of the problem, they fix it. It is very good thing there are sales are going well. That may lead us to believe that only the view count is affected, and not products themselves. Maybe with all the holiday rush, they don't have time to respond, but as long as there are sales, maybe we shouldn't stress too much about something so out of our control.

The backend stats are not connected to the sales system. People can still view and buy products as normal. If you're seeing a reduction in sales (especially if it's been over a period of months), that's unconnected to this. Support responded in proportion to the issue, which is that we can't see the last time that someone looked at those pink socks. It's been noted. They're working on it.
Something to consider is that it's a tough year in many places. I'm sitting in a freezing room in blankets because we can't afford to run the heating too often. A lot of people in the UK are having to cut back, so that's one market down the drain.
Another issue can be with things like keywords. Even those of us who've been here some time can mess up with keywords for a new product line and that can stop sales coming in for it.
All that said, my Zazzle stuff has continued to sell, whereas my book sales elsewhere have dried up completely. Like I said, it's a tough year for a lot of people. There's no quick fix for that and it's not really about Zazzle.

Views on backend issue is I imagine 'low down' in the list of 'to fix' priorities as it doesn't impact anything re sales, customers etc. It is just a helpful stat. We need it as it helps us with knowing if our marketing strategies are working and which items are gaining interest. So yes important to us, but I imagine at this present time as others have said, not so important as other issues and technical blips (not to mention staff illness and shortages as flu and colds, viruses at all time high presently) as to warrant their immediate attention.
Writing in all caps, (from experience) will not help you win friends and influence people. Just a friendly headsup.
My preference is Zazzle continue working on top-priority items but yes a response , even an automated one to acknowledge receipt of your issue is the least we should expect, here on forum.

IMHO, typing in capital letters at this point is a sign of serious distress. These people coming in and to tell us their sales are great and we are doing this and such wrong are OTT.

No, typing in all caps is yelling and rude. No one is coming in and saying their sales are great, you're reading into things. Sales are down everywhere. But sales being down on Zazzle has nothing to do with the views not updating. Backend stats not updating should be a low priority problem. Making sure customers have a good experience and can buy items is where Zazzle should be concentrating their efforts. This is a known issue, it will get fixed. Screaming about it in yet another thread in the forums isn't going to help.

Engineering is aware of the issue, and we hope to have this fixed soon. Unfortunately, due to multitude of priorities at the moment I don't have an ETA to share on when this might be resolved. We're sorry that this is happening.
I'm going to close this conversation since it's a duplicate. I'd also like to request that everyone avoid using all caps in their posts.
