No longer receiving Notifications

I have not been receiving my Notifications (bell button near upper right side) in the last couple of weeks. Every time I click the button lately, I receive the following message:

Welcome to your notifications! 👋
You’ll receive updates on your orders, favorite products, stores, collections, and other activities here.
Check back regularly for new updates!
Pro tip: Start following your favorite stores to see more personalized content.

I have had sales during this time so I should have received notifications. I was receiving a lot of notifications before mid December.

(I tried to reply in another thread about this issue but I couldn't - something about an authentication issue, I think)
