Products not Showing in their Categories

I am trying to create 'QPC' templates but the products are not showing in their categories for DAYS. It's been around 4-5 days since I created the products & categories.
My shop is hidden at the moment and the product visibility are disabled as these are intended to be templates.

Is this normal? Does it take MONTHS for products to reflect to their categories on Zazzle?
I saw a similar thread (https://community.zazzle.com/t5/technical-issues/products-not-moving-to-departments/m-p/3253) but it was months ago so I'm opening this new one.

I've noticed this too. It's been at least 3 days for me.

For as long as I can remember (I've been here 7 years), before this year and in previous years, moving products to new categories was instantaneous. There were no lags due to indexing.

My shop is new and I have the same problem, either not showing up in the category or showing up in a non-related category.  Example:  I have a Mugs category and have 4 mug products but they don't show at all in that category, also I have a Travel category and t-shirt or mugs show up in that category?

UPDATE:
My products are now reflected to their categories. I'll be observing my next uploads and provide another update here.

Those of you that are experiencing issues moving existing products to a new category, can you please share some examples with me? Perhaps something like this: "I'm moving this product <product link> from category named "Category A" over to "Category B".

Hi,

Items in my category "Office + Stationery" show on the backend however when I go to public storefront, it is empty  with the message "Something went wrong. 404."

This happened to me too, but usually fixes itself in a day or so.

UPDATE:  Well for me too, every product is now in their proper categories.  Thank you to whoever did the magic trick 🙂

When I send a product to a category (new or old, or even a sub-category) it does not show when I click on the category (either in my store management or in the public storefront). It is said "zero products" but when I try to deleted the category I can't because it says that I HAVE products in it... even they are not showing. So to deleted the problematic category I had to find back manualy each products and move them to the "New Products" category. Then when I tried to deleted the problematic categoty it worked. Please solve this issue. The way it is now I just can't use categories in my store. It creates categories with nothing to see for the customers.

I am having the same problem. I am trying to update my store but I am having a hard time managing categories. I can't delete categories although they appear empty. I can't see added products in categories for days, i'm not even sure if and when they will show. This makes it pretty time consuming to get organized. I am finding myself adding and deleting products if i have to change the category.
